The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Went down in my estimation after running in front of us pointing to his premier league badge on his sleeve.
Callabinho Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 He's a little ****, He is a good player, but he's a grade A ****, I forgot he was England's best player.....Not.......
VampLCFC Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Jumped up little tw*t!! Fame and money gone to his head
Haydos Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 He's a little ****, He is a good player, but he's a grade A ****, I forgot he was England's best player.....Not....... Bit of a tosser in the interview but the badge thing seems good banter to me. Each to their own.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Author Posted 19 January 2011 Bit of a tosser in the interview but the badge thing seems good banter to me. Each to their own. Don't mind a bit of banter, but it was just disrespectful to me. Very nearly backfired on him as well. Yes they were brilliant at times, but if last night (and last sunday for that matter) is anything to go by as an example of the difference between Championship and Premier League teams then we have nothing to fear
Finnegan Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Bit of a tosser in the interview but the badge thing seems good banter to me. Each to their own. Just a bit pathetic if you ask me. Like punching a granny then bragging that you dropped the coffin dodger. Not offensive, just stupid.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Maybe its just me but I quite like it when players try to wind up the opposition a bit. Sure its immature but it gets evryone going. Fans love having someone to hate! It'll be interesting to see what badge he's pointing to when we play them in the premiership next year though
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 A Leicester fan must've ragged his missus or something.
MikeyT Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 What did he say in his interview? I didn't see it.
Ric Flair Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I've dropped him from my fantasy football team, absolute cretin.
Haydos Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Not offensive, just stupid. Spose that's the thing. And if they hadn't have already been taken to a replay and weren't only winning 3-1 then he could have maybe had a better reason. The goal was pretty class though so maybe that's what he was on about.
Sods Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Yeah nobhead, not long ago he was in the championship playing for Middlesbourgh. Tevez as well, celebrate with your bastard fans.
Blanesta Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 A Leicester fan must've ragged his missus or something. Or Sven
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Or Sven A Leicester fan ragging Sven, what's that got to do with it?
David Guiza Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 If this happened next season, for example we're in the prem and Wellens scores against Derby and does the exact same thing then everybody would love him. He's just arrogant, he is a very good player as is Tevez it's part and parcel of football nowadays, who cares?

AS I thought he'd have shown a little more respect to a team that cost pittance to their squad yet took them to a replay and still gave tehm a scare last night too
CosbehFox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Didn't even notice that was what he pointed at. What I did notice over the two games was how bleeding average he is. One foot, head down, all pace, exactly the reason England are struggling internationally.
David Guiza Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I'm sure he probably doesn't care about the cost of our team neither would anybody other then the 6thousand away fans, along with the players and staff.
nickelbyfox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 In fairness you realize why Arsenal Man Utd games had so much bite, any team with Vieira on it is going to pack bite. Thought he was more over the top as an old has been on a meal ticket then Johnson. However having liked Johnson since his boro days surprised he was such a dick tbh, just thought he was more laid back tbh

One foot, head down, all pace, exactly the reason England are struggling internationally. Calling him an arrogant twat is one thing but I have to disagree there, he's been one of England's bright sparks, he's a much better all round player than Rooney. He's our brightest young prospect IMO.
VinceNoir Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Anyone wanting to hear Johnson's interview http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/adam-johnson-carlos-tevez-cup-replay-win-over-leicester-8221265/
