Belgrade Road Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Doesn't say if loan or perm It would be a permanent deal.
haraven Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 A welcomed addition from what I've seen of him.
phillthefox Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 sign this guy up ASAP, 10 times better than davies ever is, true animal alongside bamba RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR yeah baby !!!!!
phillthefox Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Anyone know what side CB he plays? ALL OVER !!!!!! hes the size of a house
leicester4life Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 ALL OVER !!!!!! hes the size of a house fooking brilliant. left side apparently
CupidStunt Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 True good point.. Unless it was tongue and cheek,He must be pi$$ed, i think it was supposed to say I don't think it it would be Fair on the rest of the Coca Cola Championship if we had him with Bamba at the back and Ricky Ricardo or Given. Everyone might as well not showing up and just give us the 3pts!
Jake SH Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Imagine the team with the height of bamba, physical strength of the yak, and the attitude of Faye no opposition would dare have a go, make a change anyway where as in the past we have had height of hume, porter, strength of de vries, and attitude of Johansson wohaha
The Doctor Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Thank fvck we sold Wayne Brown. He'd love it here now We are really risking losing the support of BlueBrett with these signings. Still a team with Bamba, Faye, the Yak and Vassell.
Adster Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 TOO OLD Too old? Who cares about there age, as long as they play well. Is Ryan Giggs TOO OLD? He's 37, and still plays regularly play for arguable the best team in England. Don't judge someone before they've put a foot on the pitch.
Criggers Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 TOO OLD Like giggs & scholes, beckham, nistlerooy, zidane. And if you want to be a little less international and more domestic then sheringham at pompey or take a look at Phillips at Brum who would still get in a lot of championship sides. I suppose Lampard and Gerrard are crap now as well since they're in the 30+ bracket (well gerrard is 30 this year I think but near enough!)?
Cheese Me Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 32 - 33 next month still got a year or two in him at least. 18 month contract would be ideal.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 32 - 33 next month still got a year or two in him at least. 18 month contract would be ideal. Yes i agree if thats his age 18 months would be ideal for both parties
Fox1651 Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Sounds like a good player at a reasonable age and 18 month contract would be spot on. Up the Foxes
shailen Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Like giggs & scholes, beckham, nistlerooy, zidane. Well hang on that point is irrelevant, as the players you mentioned are international superstars. I wouldnt put faye in the same bracket as the gerrards, lampards...etc. but i do see your point that he is still capable of doing a job for us.
dpjfox Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 any truth in this one Bert?, hope so , hes just what we need
bald reynard Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 I see that Faye is in the Stoke squad for the Cup game against Wolves tomorrow, but is not expected to start. He actually is in the starting line up today (so much for the Guardian's 'Teamsheet' information !). I don't know whether that's significant or not. It could be that Pulis needs him in the squad and will want to keep him 'til the end of the season - or it's just a priority for today and he'll let him leave in the window.

cc_star Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Weren't we only linked with him when it looked like Curtis Davies deal to Brum was going to be hijacked at the last min by Stoke, now he's signed for Brum I can't see Stoke risking losing a first class replacement for their first choice starters?
James_lcfc Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/news/2011/01/30/stoke-s-aboulaye-faye-unavailable-in-passport-farce-102039-22885180/ STOKE centre-half Abdoulaye Faye has had to make a desperate dash to Senegal to get a new passport – or face being kicked out of the country. The powerful defender discovered that he needed fresh documentation as he tried to find a club to join before the transfer window shut. Faye, who played for Bolton and Newcastle, faced a rush home to get a new passport – and is struggling to be back for the FA Cup clash with Wolves today when he was in line to be a sub. However Faye could have been barred from returning to the country if he had not got the problem sorted out – and the snag also put a question mark over a possible switch to Celtic or Leicester City.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/news/2011/01/30/stoke-s-aboulaye-faye-unavailable-in-passport-farce-102039-22885180/ He played the whole game today so that problem was obviously sorted.
