Don't have a tv licence so may not be able to watch it. Hoping the packers win though being a Ravens fan and all.
Fox You Forest Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Bet Favre is a little gutted the Packers are at the superbowl, see he's retiring for the 37th time. I don't think you can look past the Steelers.
General Smuts Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Roetlesberger will boss this start to finish. Animal.
Samilktray Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 BLACK AND YELLOW BLACK AND YELLOW BLACK AND YELLOW
StanSP Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Don't have a tv licence so may not be able to watch it. Hoping the packers win though being a Ravens fan and all. tvcatchup.com is your friend Steelers to win. Polamalu will be boss.
Jackirius Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Steelers will win, no doubt about it... Will probably be staying up for the first few quarters and see where i am from then. Got to be up for college at 7 though
CosbehFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 C'mon Green Bay! Packers fan here. Steelers though we'll beat us. I'll watch the first half with my brother, he has the Monday off so he'll watch the entire match.
Jonezy Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Green Bay to win it hopefully. Mostly to piss off Favre, but also Big Ben with 3 rings just isn't right.
thurnbyfox Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 Picked Green Bay at the start of the season to win it but I have a feeling that the Steelers will be too strong.
Unit Posted 4 February 2011 Posted 4 February 2011 Going to get a load of beer in with Americanscott off of here, get some munchies in, a bag of cheese and enjoy the night! (I don't understand the rules... it's like rugby with helmets and more stoppages)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 February 2011 Posted 4 February 2011 Amazing how much interest I lose in a sport I love once the team I follow falls by the wayside. Eagles
FoxyPV Posted 4 February 2011 Posted 4 February 2011 Going to get a carryout and most probably sit on my own and drink. Go Packers!!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 4 February 2011 Posted 4 February 2011 Staying up to watch my first NFL game with housemates. Have been told I must be more open-minded towards American sports. Should be fun, but I draw the line at drinking American beers with it as well.

Giants vs Patriots was boring!

Extended highlights are the way forward.
Jordan Posted 4 February 2011 Posted 4 February 2011 I'm really looking forward to the game--once again, we're spoiled with a great matchup. The days of the Super Bowl being the least exciting game of the year might be gone.
ajthefox Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Live matches take fffffffooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Extended highlights are the way forward. I prefer to watch a whole match then highlights any day of the week and I actually quite like the fact that a game takes several hours, makes the game into more of an event I spose.
FoxyPV Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Got permission from the boss to go over to my mates for beers and (veggie) burgers.
General Smuts Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I'll be rocking what's become a tradition. I'll stay up for the game with beers and doritos and support the underdogs. Come on the Packers.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Er, pardon my ignorance (on both American Football and betting) but you're all claiming the Packers are the underdogs but are they not the bookmakers favourites? Edit: in fact, here you go. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/american_football/9387441.stm http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-01-24/packers-favored-over-steelers-in-closest-super-bowl-spread-for-27-years.html And it's not like the Packers are a "little" team either.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Packers are indeed Favs and have been since the head to head markets opened
