cambridgefox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I'm pretty sure you did say that somewhere and tomorrow I am going to dig around general chat and find the evidence! I reckon it was a joke that I must of thought was real and if I remember right it was a conversation between you and Zingari. If it wasn't you I reckon it was Wymsey but someone defo said they had been accepted for Police training in January I thought the same as you.i thought of my mate being nicked in Norwich for being drunk at the time. i smell bullshit! or will he arrest me for saying that!

Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 As for me, at uni, studying Geography BA. Cant say I LOVE it but i'm putting up with it and some of the modules are decently interesting, however uni life and work load you have while having no money all the time can be straining at times. Must be a decent percentage of females on a course like that though I'd imagine? Not a bad silver lining as silver linings go. I've been a bit of a bum since graduating (political science) in June. Done the odd temp job in warehouses and other mindless crap but mostly spent my time watching snooker, playing football and scratching my balls. Been offered and accepted a job in London to start in April about which I know nothing but it is contingent upon decent references which could go either way depending on who they speak to at uni because I wasn't the most diligent to say the least but I had my odd fan. If it all goes tits up at least I've got my ball games to fall back on.
Jordan Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm a banker. But I'm only a retail banker, so please, don't blame me for the financial crisis... OK, maybe I can be blamed for an overdraft fee or two, but still. I used to be a bank manager(Boo Hiss) But now i sell packaging to factories, roaming Cambs,Suffolk bit of Norfolk or working from home. I get no pressure from my boss,he pays me way more than the bank, for much less pressure and work and as luck will have it got 3k rise today. Do i like my job. 100% yes best job i have ever had. Noted.
ACF Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm a school kid, doing my last 2 years of High School, the 2 important ones. I'm a sales assistant at a health and wellbeing store, 12.5 hours a week, Thursday nights and Saturdays. Keeps me out of trouble. Looking at being a graphic designer or Advertising Exec. when I'm done Uni.

OK, maybe I can be blamed for an overdraft fee or two, but still. Noted. I wont blame you,my wife is a business banking manager,so i know the pressures, moaning customers and you charge as much as you like, people should look after their accounts better. It is a business not a charity. It always makes me laugh when people talk about bonuses and assume its on the shop floor that the staff get thousands.
James. Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm one of the cvnts who caused the credit crunch.
samjohnson Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm one of the cvnts who caused the credit crunch. You should be forced to sit and watch the remainder of the season at the Ricoh Arena wearing a Forest shirt and a Derby hat
cambridgefox Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm one of the cvnts who caused the credit crunch. I blame that tosser Robert Peston,if he shut his mouth for 1 minute people would spend!
Christoph Posted 3 February 2011 Author Posted 3 February 2011 Must be a decent percentage of females on a course like that though I'd imagine? Not a bad silver lining as silver linings go. Nope. Bout 60/40 girls/boys but the girls are like 20/80 in hot/ugly. Most birds at leicester uni are pretty bland looking to be honest.
Bugg Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 I'm currently doing a plumbing course at college Currently unemployed though so I have to rely on my EMA (that I won't get next year) for transport etc.
