Guest Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Did you smash it? (I hate myself.) Haha. That's a most certain NO
BoneDog Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Umm well its a 40 hour week but do 10 hour shifts so get 3 days off a week which I think is nicer than doing 5 really, although obviously have to do some nights and weekends. Get quite a lot of leave too to make up for bank holidays. theatres is lovely really can't complain about much. Gets really busy but what job doesn't, wouldn't want to work on the wards though. I agree with Amy (and most likely everybody else), the NHS do a great job. High Fiiiive. And a big shout to all the ambulance crews out there too. Anyone who attacks NHS staff and ambulance crews like you hear about in the papers deserves locking up for a long time.
StanSP Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I'll not post my opinion of VD just in case I get in trouble I'd say VD is pretty bad
Yorkshire Blue Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I currently study IT at college, in my final year now. Its alright. When I enrolled, I thought that they would be more practical but the majority of it is coursework which is annoying abit. College is good to be honest tough, there is a lot of good looking girls which is great Plus, the childcare class or whatever is above our classroom. Didn't apply for University though because I'm applying for RAF after college I did A-Levels and applied for University but decided to join the RAF as an ICT specialist, only done a year and half but if you want any advice PM me

Kenners Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 where have you applied for? Im in year 12 so I wont begin applying until late this year. I've started looking already though and Southampton and Warwick have caught my fancy and are both pretty decent for Chemistry.

Just because someone goes into nursing doesn't mean they're automatically a nice person. Lots of good ones too tho.

Lots of good ones too tho. My Sister is a Nurse at the LRI and the Q.M.C and she is a nice person despite her telling the family that some patients told her that she looks too young for this type of job.

skinnydipper Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 My wife was a Macmillan nurse for several years. People who found out what she did treated her like Mother Theresa.
