demon_dog Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 As per usual our crap scoreboard isn't working. Let's hope that next season we have a new one. With that in mind who do you think has the best you've seen? How many scoreboards do you think we need and where should they be positioned.
DB11 Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Why is it important? You're going to remember the score, and the time and minutes played both work fine.
jonthefox Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Did i miss summat? I was in the west stand yesterday and they both looked ok to me.. That said , they are basic to say the least.

That said , they are basic to say the least. the one above the north stand was blank - still as db11 said the clocks are working fine, shouldn't hard to remember what the score is either.
Wymsey Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Is this something that we really need to worry about? please tell me
jonthefox Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Is this something that we really need to worry about? please tell me yes it is. Because lets face it , feck all happened on the pitch yesterday.
demon_dog Posted 6 February 2011 Author Posted 6 February 2011 The reason I mentioned it that many PL grounds now have a nice big video screen, yes we all know the score, but it would be nice to see action replay of the goals. Especially when scored at the opposite end of the ground.
Stevosevic Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 EDIT - Just noticed the game and score...Urgh.
MikeyT Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 That was the day our club started it's decline. Bad times.
Jackirius Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 One above Family wasn't working all game, I know it isn't that much of a big deal, but still a bit shoddy.
Marmite Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Be good to have giant Tv screens in 2 corners of the ground that show replays of the goals and other incidents that also have the score on as well
Brown Fox Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Sheff utd was the worst. Had a big screen with the score and replays etc. but only said the time and not the number of minutes played. That pissed me off no end. How can you have a scoreboard without the fooking number of mins on it! Even worse was the fact that they were all over us and I couldn't even look and see how long was left. Also is it just me or does the big screen have no appeal. Really wouldn't like the big screen at all.
ajthefox Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Of course it's not a pressing issue but a new scoreboard that worked, possibly with a video screen for replays etc would be a nice addition a no hassle I'm sure.

Jodranadinho Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 That's are challenge for promotion ruined <_< nothing major, I'm sure it'll be working fine against brizzle.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Think we need to get one of these bad boys Only costs $40m and weighs over 600 tonnes, but I don't see there being too many problems . Plus, you'd be able to see the game in HD from your own seat. Wouldn't be able to let an Allardyce team play though, they'd keep hitting the screen with their hoof ball.
12connor34 Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 These people seem to have a good system Maybe we could get some of those digital advertising boards too ! http://www.adi.tv/sales/products-stadium.html

Wow, imagine playing call of duty on that!
