B52 Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 On the Celtic issue, the offer came in in more than enough time but the fax for the deal was not sent until literally just after 11pm, as o broad window closes at 11 it was not allowed. Bruma didn't get in and Bamba was injuried. Strange the fax didn't get in in time...
5waller5 Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 Time to say goodbye (8) I like how he thaught that homophobia was funny? Idiot in a mere 10 posts ;L ..... I'm not sure he meant that definition of "bent" ..... but to be fair - it does have alot of meanings for such a small word!!!!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 Also, how did you manage to spell football wrong, Realist? perhaps because he knows footall about football . . . . . . . . . ?
Bugg Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 perhaps because he knows footall about football . . . . . . . . . ?
Wymsey Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 Well at least i'm not top of the 'worst member' league anymore.
Fox1651 Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 perhaps because he knows footall about football . . . . . . . . . ? very good
Captain... Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 I liked him, but maybe that was only me, come back footall realist, you seem to have an inside line to what is going on at LCFC I want to know more. Has anyone else heard about this Celtic fax thing though, the deal did seem to be all set to go? Strange that it didn't happen.
Bugg Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 Well at least i'm not top of the 'worst member' league anymore. Don't worry Wymsey, he's left now, your title is reinstated.

Captain... Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 stuff like that happens all the time around the transfer deadline It's pretty poor though if Jack wanted to go, Celtic wanted him, and we were happy to let him go that the deal didn't get done. Not blaming anyone because I know **** all about anything but I would be very pissed off if I was Hobbs and the club had messed up and now he has no chance of a first team game, presuming part of the reason we got Bruma was to fill Jack's hole on the bench... Now Jack is behind Bruma, Mee and Bamba and probably Vitor too with no chance of a game for Leicester and it's taking ages to find him a loan club to go to.

Didn't you get what I wrote? How could Sven let a good player go without backup. Do you think he's stupid. Bruma wasn't coming and Bamba had a little injury. For all I know this realist-guy could have been Hobbs himself letting some steam off.

You do know that deal could have been made with Celtic before 11 pm on deadline day but not start for a few weeks or be made on the proviso that we captured Bruma. As long as the paperwork was put through before 11 the rest could have been sorted out afterwards.
phillthefox Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 the reason he couldnt go celtic was paperwork not received in time, and also like said earlier, we had possible injury worries with other players, and wouldnt let him go until players were fit again. i say let him go to get some games and fitness, wether hull is best i dont know, but he is a pearson player !!!!!

As long as the paperwork was put through before 11 the rest could have been sorted out afterwards. Pardon me if that's true. Either Sven has burnt his fingers on transfer deadlines or Hobbs has done something dirty to the club. pick your choice.... Oh forgot, Pearson, if Hobbs go to Celtic Hull can't get him. Keep on conspiring.....
gibwarrior1988 Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Then he needs to works his b***ocks off in training and impress the manager - just a thought? Have you actually been to any of the training sessions to know that he hasn't been working his arse off?
foxoffderby Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 What a prize beetroot that "football realist" was just read some of his comments. Hobbs does need to loaned out not to a rival though agreed. He's not been on his game this season and is lacking confidence. As for Bamba hes quite simply been a revalation for us in fact many people who don't support LCFC have said to me how much they would love him in their team including a Liverpool fan. The boy has got the lot and the commitment he showed at Derby to carry on playing with a head injury until Sven finally took him off was very refreshing. These days if a player breaks a toe nail he's out for 2 weeks. In fact it reminded me of Terry Butcher playing for England with a blooded top. (Well maybe not that far). But everybody like myself who saw that applauded him at Derby. I think hes too good for this division. Wanting him to have a clanger shows how much of a clown you really are. Football Realist more like unrealist. Were on a crest of a wave at the moment we don't need people like you bringing us down to your level. Now FOXOFF somewhere else.
hackneyfox Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 He's going, get over it gibwarrior1988, and he probably won't be back.
ScattyFox Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Really sorry to see Hobbs go. I hope that he will be back. All the best Hobbsy
Christoph Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 If we get promoted I dont see him coming back tbh. I can see him sticking with ole Nigel
FoxyPV Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 All the best to him. Can't see him coming back.
