Maybes Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Apart from conceding the goal which he should have done better at, he did very little wrong. The chavs in L1 are an embarrassment shouting for Weale, and as for cheering whenever he caught the ball in the second half. Tar and brush come to mind.
cairnsy Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Ricardo had a decent game today, why not have a go at Gallagher and PVA. Both were awful today
B52 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I didn't see anything wrong with Ricardo today. The goal is pure luck because reactions doesn't matter......
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 ***** chanting for Weale, get behind your team for 90 minutes then bitch and complain.
I am Rod Hull Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 ***** chanting for Weale, get behind your team for 90 minutes then bitch and complain.
Fox92 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 ***** chanting for Weale, get behind your team for 90 minutes then bitch and complain. Exactly my thoughts. Ricardo made a mistake, yet the forwards made lots by missing lots of chances today. If stupid people are going to shout for Weale everytime Ricardo makes a mistake, they should also shout for Waghorn when Yakubu misses a chance etc Its disgusting. Get behind the side.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Honestly I want Weale back for a couple of games, but I'm not going to chant for him. I'll tell people after the game (like now), but I won't have ago at Ricardo. If Sven trusts him enough to start him, I trust him enough to try his best.
stix Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 He just looks terrible whenever a cross or corner comes in. I disagree. I think he did well with corners and crosses today. Granted he should of done better with the goal but as has been said it was hit pretty hard from close range. Long range distribution sometimes leaves a little bit to be desired sometimes but im still a fan.
L1HT Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Within 10 mins he let that goal in that looked easy to save, let Marlon King stroll round him after being woefully out of position (a defender had it covered), then just let the ball go over his head and hit the cross bar presuming it was going over. Lucky boy with them last two!
Mikey Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Have backed Ricardo recently but from where I was sat, which tbf is right at the back of the Kop, any keeper at any standard should be saving that shot. Won;t be chanting 'Weale' while Ricardos in the goal any time soon but mistakes like today could prove the difference between making the play offs and not. Just like to point out that I'm not scapegoating him as I do realise its as much as the defenders faults (PVA slip) for letting the chance be created, and also the forwards for not putting the numerous chances we had away.
Ozwin Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The Weale chants are an absolute embarrassment. Had this right psycho in SK1 at the back going absolutely mental whenever Ricardo got the ball, he about exploded when van Aanholt messed up a cross near the end too, bloody loonatics at the Walkers sometimes.
B52 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I have seen Weale play much less controlled than Ricardo so I don't get it. , why are people chanting Weale? He wouldn't saved Kings goal either so why does people bother.
B52 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 For me it doesn't matter who stands either. I don't have any particular feelings towards anyone og them but I think Sven has a plan when he plays either.

There were a few behind me calling for PVA's head by the end. ****ing ridiculous sometimes down there, honestly cant quite understand how half of them find their way to the ground on their own.
Bugg Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I hate being in K1 sometimes. The Weale chants are getting very annoying now, especially since people seem to selectively forget the howlers that Weale has made.
dannythefox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I would never shout for someone on the bench BUT get Weale back leave Ricardo on the bench from the games hes played hes worse than Weale its all because he was portugals goal keeper same with Vassell hes done nothing since hes been here.

Nothing you have said there is actually fact
dannythefox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Nothing you have said there is actually fact Nothings fact but how long does sven keep picking vassell over waggy how much time does he need to come good? and from what i've seen of ricardo noone can say hes better than weale. Just when vassell was starting to look ok down the middle we bought fat yak.

Just when vassell was starting to look ok down the middle we bought fat yak. The manager keeps picking Vassell over Waghorn because he is performing better on the training ground. Is Ricardo any worse than Weale? Not everything that Sven does will go down well with everybody but since the guy has took over things haven't been going to badly have they? And Yakubu has NEVER been one of those strikers who chases down every ball. A FAT Yakubu is better than an old tiresome Howard in my eyes, Waggy maybe an option but he just doesnt have the experience and power that the yak has.
somebum Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 It is not a scapegoat over-reaction to blame Ricardo, he has been shockingly bad in all his games so far
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Honestly though, I trust Svens judgement more than any twat on this forum. Just my view.

[/quote I dont agree with the training ground thing it goes on match performance surley if someone who plays for prem club has 3or4 shit matches 9/10 there dropped to try and give them a boost, and yes a fat yak is better than an old howard but i think play waggy should along side yak in a 4-4-2 he was up there on his own sometimes last season and did a great job. svens doing a great job but am not buying the ricardo thing.
somebum Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Blind slavish obedience. 'AVE Sven, if he says he's good, maybe some clueless ****er will believe it But to be honest, Weale is one of the worst City keepers I have seen in the past two decades.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 1 word... Weale! (PS. Im not a chav cause I sit in K block, oldtimers )
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Blind slavish obedience. 'AVE Sven, if he says he's good, maybe some clueless ****er will believe it But to be honest, Weale is one of the worst City keepers I have seen in the past two decades. Sven sees them everyday, he has won trophies, he has experience. All us fans have is the passion for the club. We just have to get behind the team he puts out and hope they will win us games.
