Nunny Fox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Newcastle sing "just cant get enough" for kevin Nolan
Brown Fox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Possibly the gayest, cringey football chant there is. Please can we stay away.
Stevosevic Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Possibly the gayest, cringey football chant there is. Please can we stay away. Agreed, it's awful.
Unit Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 At 5.50    I think it'd work, anyone who's seen Kasabian live will know that LSF going on for 10 minutes is ****ing amazing
Dilkes Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 I think it'd work, anyone who's seen Kasabian live will know that LSF going on for 10 minutes is ****ing amazing Agreed. Defiantly would work, its just getting a group of people to start it and hoping that it would catch on
Fosse Boy Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Been doing LSF for a few games up our corner. Can sound awesome even with less than 20 doing it, needs to catch on.
Houdini Logic Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Can we have 'Dancing in the Moonlight' by Thin Lizzy? No relevance and not particularly good to sing as a group, but damn I love that song...
Ashley Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Tell you what let's just sing blue moon, considering the person who sang it first came from Leicester?
EnglishOxide Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 What happened to yesterdays thread discussing the grecque/(poznan ) celebration?
Wymsey Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Tell you what let's just sing blue moon, considering the person who sang it first came from Leicester? It was first sung by Crewe fans in the mid 80's and then now by Man City fans. We can't yet again copy what Man City do and chant... Something new is needed.

Something new is needed. I know Crewe sung it first however when I posted that Crewe sung it first on here I got replies of "don't believe everything wikipedia tells you" OK Then I was however being sarcastic in my previous post, would be good to have our own song though. When your smiling seems to hard for everyone to sing all together!
Ashley Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Double Post, Sorry Mods. Older posters who were at the Watford game in play-off semi-final(I think) will be able to clear this up. Leicester at Watford sang. I never thought I'd miss you Half as much as I do And I never thought I'd feel this way The way I feel About you As soon as I wake up Every night, every day I know that it's you I need To take the blues away It must be love, love, love It must be love, love, love Nothing more, nothing less Leicesters the best Thoughts?
Dilkes Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Might as well do Never Walk Alone and Glory Glory Leicester City
Fosse Boy Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Might as well do Never Walk Alone and Glory Glory Leicester City Already do, it's a tune from the sixties!

The Doctor Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Can we have 'Dancing in the Moonlight' by Thin Lizzy? No relevance and not particularly good to sing as a group, but damn I love that song... good song but not their best - chinatown is better. But my ever changing moral stance & alternative ulster by stiff little fingers are even better. and Fosse Boy is right - LSF sounds cracking even with 15-20 people.
stockyfox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 I know I'll probably be shot down in flames for this but having read through the various postings in this thread, I thought I might as well add my two penn'orth by way of a modified version of a Song for England that I composed to celebrate the World Cup – but then we got knocked out! Given that it is original and not a well-known pop song etc. and that it's not for a choir but for a football crowd to enjoy singing, the criteria I set myself were: 1. Keep the tune simple so that it is fairly easy to pick up and remember 2. Keep the words simple – nothing complicated 3. Make it repetitive Apologies for the sound quality! It was only intended as a demo and there was only me to sing it. If you can stand listening to it all the way through, you may hear a familiar sound! To modify the words, my 'Leicester' version would be: 'Leicester, Leicester, we all follow you, Leicester, Leicester, we love you, yes we do, Leicester, Leicester, it's Leicester all the way. Just give us a goal so we're on a roll And we'l l win again today. Hey' Then next verse, players names: 'Yuki Abe, we all follow you, Yuki , Yuki, we love you, yes we do Yuki, Yuki, it's Yuki all the way Etc And so on. Yes, I know it's corny but so are lots of other songs but it's original and it's by a City fan! Link:
jonthefox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 can you imagine L1 trying this. Most of them struggle with "oo are ya".
mickydeeeuk Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 This I would bloody love! Double Post, Sorry Mods. Liam Newcombe 95 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Im well up for a bit of lsf. Maybe jobber can get a keyboard with some sound affects for the start of it. Owt instead of the drum DJ JOBBER!
Finnegan Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Half the ground belting out some of Kasabian's anthems would be relevant and fucking brilliant. Definitely in favour of the LSF shout. I swear, back when they were starting out, I saw them at Reading one year and if I remember correctly I'm sure almost the entire crowd was singing the Club Foot melody en masse as we left the tent, like one half "der der"ing a bit and the other half doing it back. Like <half> "OOOH!" - <other half> "AH AH AH AHA H!" etc. Sounded amazing. But I was drunk and it was years ago, I might have completely dreampt this up. About 75% sure it happened though. Surely someone else can confirm.

Dan Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Engelbert Humperdinck - The last Waltz. Leicester artist, sort of song that'd sound quality just before kick-off with everyone stood singing along to it, now for some lyrics.
