So I'm gonna stick Naughton in for player of the year

Young Player of the Year - Naughton Goal of the Season - It's nice to have too many to choose from, but probably Yakubu v Derby. Topgoalscorer - King Individual performance of the season - Bamba v Man City Team Performance - v Barnsley (4-1) Academy player of the year - Don't follow the academy, but Schlupp's looking like the next best thing.

Considered Gally but I think he's been patchy, been great for us but not quite often enough. Similar story with Wellens but I think he just edges it. Goal of the Season - It's nice to have too many to choose from, but probably Yakubu v Derby. I never really rated Yakubu's as being amazing. Great goal but I think it's because it's so unorthodox I can't decide quite how good it is. Good finish but he's quite close and has just lashed it.

Just the way he goes from the ball at about head height with his back to goal, touch on either thigh, swivels his man who's right on his back and than smashes it on the volley with his weaker foot. And it was against Derby. Pretty special.

Makes a change that we can argue over the best goal because there's so many, if Yakubu had done that last year it'd have won hands down, whereas this year you've got King's v Derby, King's, Gallagher's and Naughton's v Barnsley, King v Leeds, Vassell v Hull, and that's just off the top of my head. Gonna be a good competition this season.
