Houdini Logic Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Weale PVA Mee Vitor Naughton Abe Wellens King Gally Vassell Kamara Swap Abe for Oakley and I like that team
Simmo86 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Thinking about it Yuki needs to play in this one just put McGugan back in this pocket. Not sure Oakley is up to the job!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Ricardo Naughton Bruma Vitor Mee Oakley King Wellens Gallagher Howard Kamara

SMX11 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Weale Neilson Hobbs Brown Berner Wellens Oakley King Kermorgant Fryatt Waghorn 4-4-2 diamond, we should get a good performance from this team.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Weale Naughton Bamba Vitor Mee Gallagher Wellens King Vassell Kamara Yakubu 4-4-2 Yak looks so much better when he has another striker along side him. Vassell and Gallagher on the wings breaking into a 4-2-4 counter attacking team. F#ck the play offs. Just dont lose to Forest. A season where we do the double over both Derby and Forest is one i'd be happy with given where we were after Portsmouth away. Agreed please dont lose to the red scum . . . . . come on you Blues
Jimmy Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Bamba is out of the Easter fixtures, as confirmed by Sven Ricardo Naughton Vitor Mee Van AanholtGallagher Oakley KingDyer Yakubu Kamara Wellens has been poor for some time and is starting to slow us down, Gallagher can be just as creative, Oakley seems to have found a roll recently and the holding player, effectively playing as a sweeper. Dyer playing from the right is a real goal threat and his pace running at who ever Forest can find to play left back (Konchesky is suspended I think) would cause them problems and be a constant outball for us where as Vassell always cuts inside and tends to just conjest the forward line plus Naughton and Dyer had a brilliant understanding on the right earlier this season, Kamara and Yak do work well together when we play with pace, Bruma seems to be a liability for us, he obviously has ability but his attitude stinks Vitor and Mee are possibly our best defenders anyway (except for Tunchev) and for me Ricardo is the lessor of 2 evils when it comes to the Keeper situation, especially with Forest's ability at shooting from range
Danno Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Forest also have a young right back who has just stepped up and has played in the last 2 games because gunter's tired so maybe we could exploit that. Maloney is the guy's surname. Weale Naughton Vitor Mee PVA Oakley King Wellens Gallagher Yakubu/Vassell Kamara I think if Vassell plays he should defo be center forward. He is so much better there.
cairnsy Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Weale Neilson Hobbs Morrison Berner Oakley King Gradel Fryatt Howard Waghorn
acooling08 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Best Case Scenario: Weale - Naughton, Mee, Vitor, Berner - Oakley, Wellens, King, Gally - Yak, Kamara. Sven will probably pick: Weale - Naughton, Mee/Vitor, Bruma, PVA - Oakley, Wellens, King - Vassell, Yak, Kamara.
Joe. Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 I'd like to see: Weale Naughton --- Vitor --- Mee -- Berner Oakley King --- Wellens Gallagher --- Vassell --- Kamara
lcfcbradyboy Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 i would love to see Weale Naughton Vitor Hobbs Mee Moussa King Wellens Gallagher / Kamara Kamara / Vassel Dyer but because that wont be happening i would like Weale Naughton Vitor Mee Berner Abe King Wellens Kamara Vassel Dyer
acooling08 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Cmon Sven, see sense, don't play Bruma, Please!!!
Dylan Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Weale Naughton Vitor Mee van Aanholt Oakley/Abe (depending on Oakley's tiredness) Wellens King Gallagher Kamara Vassell
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Ricardo Naughton-----Vitor-----Mee-----Van AanholtAbe-----WellensKingGallagherYakubu-----Kamara Ricardo back between the sticks, distribution from the back could be the platform for success in this one. With Yuki and Wellens held back a bit, it'll take some of the pressure off Naughton and PvA defensively. They're both assets going forward in my opinion, giving them that freedom should benefit them. Abe kept McGugan anonymous in November, I trust him to do it again and keep tight to him. I still think that Yakubu and Kamara is a combination that could click into place to our benefit, it's such a powerful front line it should give the Forest defence a few dilemmas. We need to be physical against the likes of Wes Morgan and Luke Chambers. I'd like Gallagher to hover just behind the front two picking out passes for the strikers and the advancing full-backs, and taking pot-shots from range, almost playing in tandem with King.
RedHux Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Forest also have a young right back who has just stepped up and has played in the last 2 games because gunter's tired so maybe we could exploit that. Maloney is the guy's surname. Brendan's older then Gunter. Also, he's played somewhere in the region of 20ish championship games and shown himself to be a pretty capable right back. Our main weakness is centre mid. Cohens back but everyone else is either broken, just about broken or essentially a forward in midfield.
MC Prussian Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Ricardo Van Aanholt Vitor Mee Naughton Wellens Abe King Gallagher Vassell Yakubu Subs: Weale, Berner, Bruma, Oakley, Moreno, Dyer, Howard
Fox92 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Ricardo Naughton -- Vitor -- Mee -- Van Aanholt Vassell -- Wellens -- Abe -- Kamara Gallagher Yakubu ___________________________ Ricardo's distribution is better than Weale's for us to go forward. Weale lumps it long, ignoring the full backs, and the ball comes back because nobody can head it or keep it up there. Howard is needed for that game. Definetly Mee at left centre half to give us balance. Another option could be Berner left back with Van Aanholt left midfield??
Jimmy Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 Stringer's Twitter :"Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is considering a place in squad for Aleksandar Tunchev ahead of Friday's trip to face Forest"
Simmo86 Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 Mark Clattenburg is the ref for Friday BTW God help us!

Simmo86 Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 God help us one and all! He's a homer, will suit you down to the ground!
