StarFox Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 On SSN, apparently Blackburn still want Yakubu to sign today.

blue army 1988 Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Move to Blackburn could be back on! I doubt it was ever off
21st Century Fox Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Looks to be Blackburn for sure. 1503: BBC Africa Sport understands that Yakubu will be joining Blackburn from Everton today. The striker is on his way to Ewood Park as we speak.
Big Dave Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Fourth Official just confirmed that Yakubu has signed for Blackburn.
topharry123 Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Blackburn bound. Bigger disappointment than Maynard if he doesn;t sign. We should have pulled out all the stops early on to get him.
cc_star Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Blackburn bound. Bigger disappointment than Maynard if he doesn;t sign. We should have pulled out all the stops early on to get him. We had the bid accepted months ago too, disappointing we only went back to him once Maynard proved next to impossible
topharry123 Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 We had the bid accepted months ago too, disappointing we only went back to him once Maynard proved next to impossible Definitely. I know he demanded big wages but for someone like him think it would have been worth it. We'd be paying a lot less than for Maynard so would have thought we could pay more for wages. Blackburn are apparently after samaras as well so maybe he won't sign for them.....seems like a small chance though at this point!
panky and our gang Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Must be the only one on here who is sighing with relief . I don't think he would have come here with the right attitude thinking he's to good for this division . I think time will tell and Blackburn will rue the day they signed him , He wasn't even good enough for Everton for Christ sake .
