Osama Bin Laden Dead!

A lot of this is odd but one thing I really have to question is the burial within 24 hours thing.

I mean really, are they going to respect Muslim tradition for someone like Bin Laden? Give me a break.

If indeed he has been killed then I'm pretty sure that Al queada aren't gonna give a flying fvck about how he's buried.

Quite.

''After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.''

lol some people think too much.

He's dead. some people won't like it. Its not rocket science.

lol I'm not saying I dont like the fact hes dead but I question how it took the Americans more than a decade to find him considering the amount of satellites and technology they have, not to mention the amount of spies they probably have in that region. Considering Pakistan are in their pockets.

That's why I choose to believe that all is not what it seems in this scenario

Well, where's the evidence that Osama is in fact dead?

All there is is a statement by the American government, endlessly copied in the world press today.

No hard questions for the US, no backup information whatsover.

Yeah, right.

And how come I can't find the CBS clip anywhere?

And who seriously believes that dumping him into the sea will prevent Bin Laden's followers from building hundreds if not thousands of shrines in his memory?

So America has fooled the top journalists in all the worlds major news organisation but not you eh? Do you think if OBL was still alive he wouldn't be on Al Jezeera right now making the US look stupid?

If America exhibits the body they're accused of triumphalism and enraging the arab world( and people would still say it wasn't really him),if they bury it they're accused of lying. They can't win in some peoples eyes. Thankfully those people are too dumb to worry about.

It has been done to deflect attention from the obviously forged Osama bin Barack Obama's birth certificate. The one produced was a copy and not the original with the name of the hospital he was born in is given a name used some years later after it was amalgamated with another hospital .:ph34r:

The house he was discovered in didnt have a phone line or internet or anything like that.

didnt make him easy to find.

It doesn't matter how much technology you've got, if you know the lay of the land you can hide. Especially in an ares such as the mountainous tribal areas around the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. And Pakistan is far from being in the pockets of the US, the capitol and the areas towards India may be compliant with US policy but the vast majority of the Afghan border area is riddled with insurgents. Alot of the fighters in Afghan come from this area aswell as Iran.

If you believe every word that comes out of the US government, then by all means be my guest.

And most of the journalists of the mainstream press are nothing but gullible idiots, whom some of them are a mouthpiece for government officials.

The report what they are told and they know if they do not toe the line they may not have access to the US Government in the future and may find that they are squeezed by the Government regulatory authorities.

That explains why there are never any political scandals in America.

Think about it. boys... would they REALLY be running that story if had even a tiny doubt he was dead? Or would they be running a story of hatred and trying to disprove his death if he wasnt dead?

there are some muslims who back terrorism. there are some who dont. Annoying all of them with breaking even a simple tradition like this wouldnt be that wiise if you are trying to put a wedge between those who back terroism and those who dont.

I know what you mean, but I'd find it a little odd if Muslims were to be outraged by the US not up holding the tradition for someone who has quite clearly gone against his own religion and taken parts of their holy book out of context and into extremes to suit his own ideology.

If it is taught that all Muslims should follow this tradition regardless of what they have done during their lives, which I'm guessing it may do, then fair enough I suppose. Each to their own and if respecting tradition regardless of circumstance is that important then that is their decision. Each to their own and I respect anyone who lives their life with such values, even if I might think they're mad as a box of frogs.

On a personal level though I must just say it's just beyond me to show such a vile human being any respect. The media might have done all they can to create this supreme evil force at the center of world terrorism but he is quite clearly, to quote El Empty from the first page "A massive wrong-un"

If there are any Muslims on here with a strong sense of faith I'd be very interested to hear your thought on this..

I believe he died years ago.

So why now? why not a week before the Republicans lost the last elections or a week before Obama faces re election? Why not just report it when they found out?

i agree 100%

I am GUESSING though that for alot of Muslims they see a difference between Osama and their religion and God. to not bury a Muslim according to their (collective.) religion i would imagine be a deep insult to their God, not the person being buried.

On the burial issue?

Well it is very important that Muslims should recieve a burial regardless of how tyranical they may have been, after that judgement comes from God.

I cant say im outraged they wont give him a proper burial, but he's just a corpse now so to bury him somewhere wouldn't be the hardest thing.
