JCWfox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Leicester City Football Club has today announced that Commercial Director Paul Hunt will be leaving the Walkers Stadium to join Premier League club Blackburn Rovers. After 12 months with the Foxes, Paul heads to Ewood Park to become Rovers' new Deputy Chief Executive. An announcement about the structure of City's commercial operation moving forward will be made in due course. The Leicester City Board of Directors would like to place on record their appreciation for Paul's hard work during his time with the Club and wish him every success in his new venture.
Kitchandro Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I envisage this bombshell igniting a massive rivalry between the two Clubs. The winner of every meeting will be awarded the 'Paul Hunt Trophy'. Previous East Midlands rivalries will cease to exist as Leicester fans will sing to their neighbours: 'It's Leicester and Blackburn, you're all on your own' and 'we only hate Blackburn'. Of course the East Midlands derbies will be considered rivalries again when we win them.

FantasticMrFuchs Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 If only it was Hoos or Barclay. Be careful for what you wish for
Wymsey Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Known him and seen him a few times over past few seasons. Very nice bloke who can be trusted. I wish him all the best.
sphericalfox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I think we should all brush the dust off our CVs and get applying for this fancy job! Jobs a doddle!
NewquayFox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Directs the commercials in the break at half time!!!!!
funkyrobot Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I thought he was in charge of making sure the correct sponsor got the correct goal kick or throw in on our new score boards. I'd be most disappointed if I paid for the fifth throw in after half time and got the second goal kick instead. Old hunty was the key to this slick operation. I fear the worse for next season. Maybe bernie should get the job?
ajthefox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Surprised this wasn't on Radio Leicester being billed as "MASSIVE NEWS OMFGZZZZ" last night..
Fox92 Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I knew you would love that Only joking, I'll give you +1 for that.
Fosse Boy Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Now if they could just get rid of a few other suits behind the scenes we'd be set.

We could do it for Mandaric when we play Sheff Wednesday (If we ever do again) Or if we want to be picky, The 'Rob Jones Trophy' That Blonde haired lad who did the Fox player interviews last season, he went to Everton. He leaves us and all we get is a FAT YAKKUUBU.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 hopefully Mandaric will be the next to go And Gradel, his attitude stinks.

Thracian Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Now if they could just get rid of a few other suits behind the scenes we'd be set. When it comes to value for money the club could still make massive improvements on both the playing and administrative side.
