m00nie Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 i think hes been a great character.. he served us well also.. best of luck to him in the future is what i say..
Fox92 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 The second one. That because he played for Derby I don't think I've ever heard so much about someone retiring. Just wait 'til Beckham retires.
sdb Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 I don't think I've ever heard so much about someone retiring. ...and pretty much all from the man himself. I don't dislike him at all, but he won't shut up about his last 'training session', 'last night sleeping as a pro', 'last journey to a match', 'vote for me to win this', 'i'm on tv today, radio later, then tv again, me me me me me fooking me!!! give it a rest Sav AARRRGRGHHHHHR!!!!!!!
Topman Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Just been watching it on FLS, quite good last 5 mins about Robbie, now his retired I guess we can all say he has been great in the years his been with lcfc, gave 100% whenever he put the blue shirt on, my favourite moment was when he won a last minute penalty at pride park, he was celebrating like we won the world cup, that was even before Muzzy put it away, imagine he misses, I know he gets a lot of sticks but I always remember him as that player never stop running for us in that midfield!
MikeyT Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011/may/16/robbie-savage-tv-bad-joke
Brown Fox Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Gonna miss watching him. May have been a twat on the pitch but at one time he was our twat. Plus he's a real nice guy. Met him a few times. Good luck to him!
stripeyfox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Fair play to him. I'll always remember him "winning" the penalty at Pride Park. He gets on my tits a bit on the radio but he loves the game and in my brief experience of meeting the man, he's a nice bloke.
Matt Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 Just seen he's going on Strictly Come Dancing.... ...Doing well for himself then
leicesterisme Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 Fair play to him, guarenteed to be entertaining.
BoneDog Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 Easy money I'm gonna lump £12 or something on him to win before the show even starts
EnderbyFox Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 Got my hopes up when this returned to the top of the forum, thought he was going to retire from radio and tv
Rincewind Posted 7 September 2011 Posted 7 September 2011 quote RobbieSavage8 Robbie Savage So surprised by the response over 3,000 tweets received and majority wishing me luck this can't be right might have to two foot a dancer !! Not a programme I watch even with him in.
Bert Posted 7 September 2011 Posted 7 September 2011 Always loved him, the type of person I like. Doesn't give a shit about what anyone thinks, and speaks his mind. He's big enough to take the stick too which can't be said for many that give it out. He's not everyones cup of tea of course, but he's lived the life most of us have dreamed of, got plenty of money in the bank, and making a career for himself after football. I wouldn't mind being in his shoes.
@mrtonycox Posted 7 September 2011 Posted 7 September 2011 The bloke's a cock.. His wife gave birth to their first child at the same time in the next room to my son being born.. Said hello to him whilst wondering around waiting for things to happen and he blanked me as if didn't exist. I also saw him on the A43 services near oxford last year park up in the disabled spots in his giant range rover whilst nipping into the services. He was talentless and clueless but chased the ball like mad, but saying that so did our old dog.
