Austin Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Would anyone like to see him here next season ? Just watched his interview after the game and he's saying stuff like he's "dissapointed Leicester didn't make the playoff's" and that if 2 goals in 7 games isn't good enough, if he's here next season he hopes to do alot better. Thoughts? I'd probably take him considering he's a free agent .. With a full pre season I reckon he could be pretty useful for us
MattyFromLE Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Ball seems to stick to his feet, from yesterdays game he seems to find 2/3 yards of space really well, battles well. On a free, i'd take him obviously dependant on whether he wants a ridiculous wage or not
ScouseFox Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 He looks good. Not sensational, but good. I like him, and on a free, rather him over Marlon King...
Austin Posted 8 May 2011 Author Posted 8 May 2011 If hes on a free, I'd take him all day long. he says in the interview he's a free agent at the end of the season
StanSP Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Really impressed me yesterday. Ran at defenders like a battering ram and he absolutely clattered in to their big-ish defender and too him out completely. He's the kind of player I would love to see back next season with us. He's very skilful too and as said the ball sticks to his feet like glue. Thought he buggered up his chance for his goal though but he deserved it given his performance
LCFC94 Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Would be a decent signing on a free, certainly wouldnt say no!
davieG Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Played really well in the first game, been poor since, yesterday it looked like he was playing for a contract and stepped up his game. Not fussed if Sven thinks he can get a performance out of him regularly then ok.
sdb Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Would be a good addition for sure. He'd be 3rd in my list of 'super-goal-getters' though, behind Yak and Maynard, one of whom will hopefully be complemented with Emile's return.
Austin Posted 8 May 2011 Author Posted 8 May 2011 any links It was his interview that's on foxesplayer mate
Wymsey Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Very much would like him here yes, but I think he can still do a good job for Fulham.
Austin Posted 8 May 2011 Author Posted 8 May 2011 Very much would like him here yes, but I think he can still do a good job for Fulham. Seemingly from the interview you got the vibe he didn't have a future at Fulham
Stevosevic Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Played 6 games i think, played well against 'Boro, Burnley and Ipswich. Worth a deal i think.
dannythefox Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 I like him hes a good player but i would like to see marlon king here and theres not room for the both of them!
ajthefox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Was a different class in his first game, and although I wasn't too impressed at Forest or Donny, I think on a free we'd be mad not to give him at least a year. In the right set up in this division he could be potent.
Jon25747 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11681_6922822,00.html? Diomansy Kamara admits it is possible that he could return to Leicester City despite being disappointed with his contribution during his loan spell. The striker spent the closing few weeks of the season on loan at the Walkers Stadium from Fulham and scored twice in seven appearances. Kamara's contract at Fulham expires in the summer and he is planning to look for a new club after becoming resigned to leaving Craven Cottage. The 30-year-old has not ruled out a permanent move to Leicester and has vowed to contribute more if he does rejoin Sven Goran Eriksson's side. "I'm unhappy we didn't get to the play-offs, we have a great team," said Kamara. "And I'm bitterly disappointed with my own performance. I honestly know I can do much better. "Two goals in seven games wasn't good enough - if I can come back I'll try to do much better. "Returning is possible. We can have a strong squad next term and can go up."
