MPH Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 PVA as a winger instead of a defender would be an improvement. I don't understand why clubs annouce this as it means that we end up paying over the odds for players - see Waghorn. or we could just buy a winger...

Ashby Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 lFingers crossed we do it next season with unlimited funds because we did not get that far with the money we had this season compared to a lot of championship clubs who just had the passion which we had last time aroud. Depressing when I watched an unchanged Notts Forest & Swansea club from last season make the play offs again and we did not and then tonight watch another club up there Cardiff although they did get Bellamy. I just feel so disappointed. We were up there last season and nothing this season! Heres to next season with all the big signings that we should make and IN SVEN WE TRUST.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Any of this season's loanees who may be with us next season, should have now been able to "bed in" as it were, and have a greater understanding of what to expect next season, as Sven himself will have done They will be more of a unit, and streetwise following this season. Sven certainly needs two good goalkeepers, and a few other quality players, of both Premiership and Championship experience, to add to the squad. I don't think Sven will go over the top with his spending, and will use his money wisely. .We certainly need more fire in our belly next season, and plenty of pride in wearing the shirt.. We also need our supporters to get behind the team, and individual players.( No more of the disgusting behaviour Ricardo was treated to, by a small band idiots, and phonies, who do not represent our club). I am looking forward to an interesting summer, and an exciting, and successful new season--onwards and upwards. :scarf: :scarf:

I can see the money drieing up Just because they say that this to the manager, doesnt mean he will go and spend alot or that they expect him too. Just means that if he really believes that a player hes looking at can make a difference he knows he can compete with other teams in signing whoever it may be.
