DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Well done to the"Tigers", for reaching the Premiership Final at Twickenham for the seventh season on the trot. They are a truly magnificent side, who have been at the top of the tree, since the late seventies. I feel very proud of what they have done for this city of ours, in the sporting world. Again, well done, and good luck in the final. Bring the trophy home again boys!
One Arm Babba Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Agreed, wasn't a vintage display against saints but still did enough. Can't see them losing to Saracens either.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 May 2011 Author Posted 16 May 2011 Got two tickets again, near the pitch. Wish the Foxes could do as well! Anyway, "Come on you Tigers"! :chant:
MPH Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 If they win this then it will be their third premier league title in a row... only one team have ever got a hat-trick of titles before and that is.. well.... the Leicester Tigers! Manu will be lucky not to be cited and to play in the final.....
isaidno Posted 27 May 2011 Posted 27 May 2011 I'm making my first visit to Twickenham on Saturday, looking forward to it
Alexikokopops Posted 27 May 2011 Posted 27 May 2011 Got a text from my mate yesterday asking if I wanted a free ticket to pop down Twickenham. I used to live there (until November) and know what it's like on a rugby day (usually involving people pissing on my drive) so I'm planning to avoid it as much as possible and drink in Richmond beforehand.

Alexikokopops Posted 27 May 2011 Posted 27 May 2011 Thank fook for that, i took the i will avoit it part as avoiding going Looking forward to watching this tonight should be a good match Just read it back and can understand why. I'm going to avoid Twickenham as much as it's possible to avoid Twickenham when you're going to see a match in the stadium
Finnegan Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 You need to spell it out slowly, Marsh, he's Australian.

Not going this year but will be in Northampton for the beer festival wearing my Tigers home shirt reminding the locals they won nothing again.

Why don't you get some revenge? Piss on someone elses drive?
StanSP Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Tigers lose 18-22 . Brits for Saracens was brilliant. Toby Flood missed a couple of penalties but scored all of our 18 points. We were so close at the end!
Number 6 Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Glad they lost. I know loads of people from uni and work who support them despite having no affiliation with Leicester. Surprisingly many support Man U in the football world. Hate glory hunters.
Haydos Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Brits was fooking insane. Don't watch much rugby nowadays so I haven't seen him play before but he's one hell of a player.
ajthefox Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Glad they lost? Really? I'm not a massive rugby fan but I want them to do well. Can understanding that Tigers are bound to have a fair few glory hunters in their fanbase but that's not a reason to want them to fail. Are you from Leicester?

Bastard took down Tuilagi just as I thought he would get a try! But he'd be my man of the match. He was like a battering ram and fought through the 2 injuries he got.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 Bit gutted they started the season really poorly and then looked unbeatable from the middle of the season. So close to another title

Can understanding that Tigers are bound to have a fair few glory hunters in their fanbase but that's not a reason to want them to fail. Are you from Leicester? Yes mate. Born and bred. I know most will disagree and in fairness from the small knowledge of RU I have, Tigers conduct themselves well and don't give much reason to be hated. I just get riled too much by the glory hunters, maybe I have a disproportionate friend circle!

And I don't think very highly of rugby fans anyway (half of them are so far up their own arses you wouldn't believe). Still find it hard to show anything but support for them when they're playing though. Each to their own though I suppose.
