Salieri Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 He's not a centre forward really. We need an out-and-out striker ideally. I can definitely see us ending up with Santa Cruz on loan. We also need a winger!! McFadden has played out wide for most of his career.
Blinking Blue Owl Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Lets be honest if any top striker out there saw that apology for a team performance on Saturday would YOU want to come here ?
lcfc@ Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 "Joenffc: @Fourth_Official been reported leic*ster have made a bid of 5.5 mill for Maynard, Bristol should snap leic*ster's hand off for it!"
Hack Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Same Roque Santa Cruz would be a good proposition we shall see This is what I have thought for quite some time. No noise about him at all, which is the way it should be when dealing for players. He would be the perfect guy for us.
Simmo86 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 The Mail is reporting at the bottom of this article MAIL That we've made a bid of 5.5 million for Maynard But as its the Mail, its probably bull
Callabinho Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 We could potentially face Maynard at home twice in the space of a few weeks. But if we were to lodge an impressive bid now, he could want to join us!!! So DONT BOO HIM, LETS MAKE A CHANT UP FOR HIM THEN HE WILL JOIN now back to my corn flakes...
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Which source of information has mentioned this 5.5m pound bid for Maynard ?
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 BertLcfc LcfcInfoMan #lcfc will step up their striker search after tomorrows game against Bristol city. Beckford won't happen, Santa Cruz and Yakubu loan targets
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 BertLcfc LcfcInfoMan Ebanks-Blake also possible.

Beckford won't happen, Santa Cruz and Yakubu loan targets he's making a list...he's checking twice, gone find out who's naughty or nice... Santa Cruz is coming to town

Ashley Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 he's making a list...he's checking twice, gone find out who's naughty or nice... Santa Cruz is coming to town If I could plus one this, I would. I'm on my phone though. Made me laugh
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Very clever thinking with regards to both Cruz and the Yak as loans meaning we won't get lumbered with a contract on X amount of money if we fail to go up, Sylvan Ebanks Blake would be good addition as well, surely if we make all these acquisitions, Howard and Waghorn days are numbered
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Anyone know what formation Santa Cruz plays, I know Sylvan plays in a 4-3-3
Callabinho Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Anyone know what formation Santa Cruz plays, I know Sylvan plays in a 4-3-3 4-3-3, diamond he is best as a center forward dropping deep! Technically a fabulous footballer similar to Aguero but a lot slower
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 So Roque and Yak as the two central strikers in a 4-3-3 with Ebanks Blake and Nugent either side, that is a quite exciting prospect
Callabinho Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 So Roque and Yak as the two central strikers in a 4-3-3 with Ebanks Blake and Nugent either side, that is a quite exciting prospect I would imagine either Santa-Cruz behind Nugent & Yak/ Ebans-blake/ Maynard, or even Gally. Or Santa-Cruz as a main striker but the style sven wants to play i would expect him to play a deeper role.

Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 he's making a list...he's checking twice, gone find out who's naughty or nice... Santa Cruz is coming to town Surely "Svens making a list.......:-)
Happy Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Santa Cruz, is like 5 choice at Man City he will want game time surely so we could be an option on loan,
Austin Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Everton confirm no bid or phone call in the past month from any club for any of their strikers (Beckford, Yakubu and Anichebe) #LCFC #NFFC

psychonaut Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Santa Cruz, is like 5 choice at Man City he will want game time surely so we could be an option on loan, His stats are immense especially with blackburn. He was desperate to leave man city last season, but a loan move collasped with Lazio. I'm sure he will go out on loan, i would imagine he will take a prem club over us but you never know as man city dont like selling or loaning to their competition. And Santa Cruz is 30 today!
Libertine Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 So Roque and Yak as the two central strikers in a 4-3-3 with Ebanks Blake and Nugent either side, that is a quite exciting prospect Get real.
