Tomassi Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Robbie Keane would be a MASSIVE signing if Sven can pull this off !!! Fantastic player
sdb Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 If his heart was in it i'm sure he'd be a good addition for us, but I can't help thinking people are referring to the Robbie Keane that Liverpool paid £20mill for and not the one who can't get in the Spurs squad and fired blanks for WH last season. OK there's no shame in that, but he aint what he was, imo. Plus he's always struck me as an arrogant, cocky one. I'd also be surprised if his pride would allow him to drop a level.
m00nie Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Robbie Keane should wrap up a move to #LCFC in the next week, Maynard is a no go for the Foxes
Hack Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Not a twit but from the Soccernet website 08.49 West Brom manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed a deal is on the table for Owen Hargreaves but admitted he is unsure whether the former Manchester United man will sign on the dotted line.
Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Doubt we would go for Hargreaves now unless a couple of midfielders left
Hack Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Doubt we would go for Hargreaves now unless a couple of midfielders left Wasn't posting it as in relation to us going for him Happy, just thought it would be of interest to our fans
Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Wasn't posting it as in relation to us going for him Happy, just thought it would be of interest to our fans Oh alright
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 i honestly feel like im banging my head against a brick wall , here... I wasnt questioning the size of the clubs... Bristol City last season did ok... southampton coming up will do well to get automaic promotion..... Both Bristol and Southamption, due to the quality of teams already in this division have to have a realistic aim of Play offs... for that reason would it be a step closer to the prem for Maynard to take? Not sure how else to explain it! You could explain it that in the past couple of years, norwich, Swansea and Blackpool have been promotted, all unfenced (or at least not favourites). History shows, if you have a decent enough 1st eleven, stay mainly injury free and your key players perform, promotion is not beond any team.
Kingleicester Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Robbie Keane should wrap up a move to #LCFC in the next week, Maynard is a no go for the Foxes How certain is this
Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 How certain is this Fourth official I would say 90% reliable
bluearmyfox23 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Sven has been very clever here I can see Sven moving for NM in January with a cheeky 2-2.5m bid and then it's down to Bristol lose him on a free in the summer or just cash in !! And also is robbie keane a pernement signing or a loan signing ?
Jobyfox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth official I would say 90% reliable 90% that he should 100% that he might 100% that he might not 50% that another PL club will come in for him 5% that he’ll retire 1% that he’ll refuse to sign after he catches Sven shagging his mrs 0.01% that he decides instead to embark on a course of gender re-assignment therapy 0.0001% we lose out in a bidding war with Coventry City

And also is robbie keane a pernement signing or a loan signing ? Robbie Keane would be a permanent signing if we are led to believe Fourth official and the paper reports
One Arm Babba Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 The same fourth official that said Bamba was gone? Yeah, very reliable.
Libertine Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 The same fourth official that said Bambara was gone? Yeah, very reliable. Not sure about that. But they've been right on pretty much everything else. So yeh, very reliable.
MGLCFC Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth Official dosn't get everything right, but has a better record than most.
escos Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 The same fourth official that said Bamba was gone? Yeah, very reliable. To be fair so did sky!
sdb Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Maybe Sol didn't fancy the move. Gotta be one of the worst Prem clubs to move to at the mo.
One Arm Babba Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Hang on, it was wrong? I'm not getting at his success rate. He/they are more in the know than me. What im trying to point out is that theses guys are not always right. Sven said no bid nor any contact came from Blackburn. I'd believe sven over "murdoch sensationalism" sports news and a guy on twitter. We live in a media intense society where we no longer wait for news but rather preempt the news of news. As highlighted by the rioting this week... The western world has gone mad. I'd quite happily retreat to a hut on a beach for the rest of my days aslong as I could listen to city on the radio I'd be happy. Just be patient on the transfer front, that's my message. And don't do drugs.** ** or drink at 11am, like me, although I am on my holiday as of 6pm last night.

Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Southampton are progressing on a move to bring Jay Rodriguez to the club, Nicky Maynard is also a target, they want both players #Saintsfc
bluearmyfox23 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Southampton are progressing on a move to bring Jay Rodriguez to the club, Nicky Maynard is also a target, they want both players #Saintsfc Shit how can they afford both of them ?
goose2010 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Shit how can they afford both of them ? just sold oxlade-chamberlain to arsenal
Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Shit how can they afford both of them ? They are fairly rich if you take into account the money from the AOC sale to Arsenal and their own budget 12m, Rodriquez-5m and Maynard- 7m
