We sensibly would not pay over the odds for a Championship striker. 7 million is a ludicrous amount of money for Maynard... wtf you on about??? 1) he is meant to be our number 1 target..... 2) it was said 5 million would probally get him a while back.. we didnt offer 5 mill 3) if we didnt offer 5 we certainly wont offer 6-7..

( its not like its even coming out of your pocket is it..) but we apprently looked at 7 mil for long... dont see many other alternatives either.. when the enquiries started being made 5 mill was the figure people was saying would do it..

Well supported, with a good squad and a very impressive young manager who gets his teams playing terrific football. NM would possibly be the difference between them being near the top 6 and IN the top 6. That's still no reason for concern ... 6 teams will ultimately be in the top 6 !!! We just need to make sure we're one of them. No we need to make sure we are in the top 2. That is the target nothing less. You may as well flip a coin for anything less.

We just need to make sure we're one of them. i honestly feel like im banging my head against a brick wall , here... I wasnt questioning the size of the clubs... Bristol City last season did ok... southampton coming up will do well to get automaic promotion..... Both Bristol and Southamption, due to the quality of teams already in this division have to have a realistic aim of Play offs... for that reason would it be a step closer to the prem for Maynard to take? Not sure how else to explain it!

Just wait and see how it pans out. If Bristol are smart they will come back to us to see if they can get another bid out if us. He's not going to go to Southampton in the blink if an eye. Ignore the ITK agent and fourth official, I would imagine LCFC, SFC and BCFC know more about what is going on.
