Leicester are going to spend big this summer, i am just getting a little nervous that everyone who has played for us on loan or we are trying to sign is not coming. yak isnt going to happen, naughton wont, PVA, bruma, vitor is all doubtful and the rest we have tried to sign is the same, i know the transfer season has just begun but who is out there who is good who would come to leicester, i can not name many.

No - I remember the Martin Allen days when we signed a whole team of rubbish in no time ar all.

Sven will bring in quality players, but won't rush in.

I don't see that we have missed out on targets

Bruma / PVA - going to Hamburg by the sound of it - this is a step up from Championship

Naughton - is likely to sign for a premier league team - again a step up

Yakubu - who knows - he certainly won't come for £35000 a week - this is not mising out, just sensible economics

Mee could still come as too Vitor.

However, do we really know who Sven has in mind?

Danns, Bougherra, Maynard, Westwood, Peltier, Smithies, Kamara and others have all been mentioned - as I see it the only person we have missed out on definitely is Marlon King (So what)

The only thing to be nervous about is the enormous expectations on us to do well this year. Signings are probably the last thing i'm nervous about, I fully trust Sven and his decisions about players.

Just to point out the obvious but when it comes to bigger signings it's likely that we'll have to wait til deep into the window as clubs and agents seek to maximise returns.A ot of potential prem signings will drag it out til the last minute hoping to sell themselves to a prem club. it'll be a long summer i'd imagine.

If Sven hasn't signed anyone yet then surely he feels the players he's looking at are not right for the club yet. Maybe he's still seeing who's available. Maybe finances are not adding up yet. Why would he rush signing anyone at this stage of the transfer window? I'd be more nervous if he had made one or two signings straight away; because then I would be thinking, is he rushing and just splashing the cash! I hope he neither the club want to take that approach, as that will cost us in more ways than one in the long run!

No need to panic yet, I think the fact this section of the forum's reached about 80 threads fills us FT'ers with more and more expectancy, and the fact the media are aware of our big cash means it was inevitable we'd get linked with players day in, day out.

It is frustrating but I'll judge things more when they happen, rather than when they don't.

Although there is a point where I'd get a bit restless.

To be honest, I fully expect us to have made at least one signing in the next week or two.
