nervous? are you serious?! the transfer window has only been open 4 days! sven knows what hes doing and im sure he has plenty of quality options he can choose from. lets just wait till the first game and see what players we have then :)

Give Sven the time he needs to build a good solid squad in order to play the football everyone wants to see...don't worry in :sge: we trust

Aye, In Sven we trust... He'll do the right thing. :)

It has only been 1 month after the season finished! no rush! also most players are on holiday but no rush. the more time you take, the better players he signs

Not necessarily. If you take too long you could end up with rubbish.

That's just me being a little pedantic though, I do echo your sentiments

I would argue that it's not the quality of players bought, just an improved, well thought through decision, this is what he's doing with the Yak, weighing up the pros and cons.

Or trying to pressure him into accepting less cash...

sven sent him packing back to wolves why would he do a u turn and buy him? (lazy journalist) btw i must admit id prefer to read "close to signing Westwood or Smithies"

I'm finding myself agreeing with Dangerous Tiger. :o:cool:

I'd just like to add that naughton, mee, bruma, yakubu, westwood, kamara etc have NOT been snapped up by any other clubs...

Very good point.

Sven is making sure he gets the right players not just any player.

I did think we would have signed someone by now but Sven's not stupid he'll have something up his sleeve. I think this week or next week we will have signed someone.

Surely everyone would rather Sven takes his time with this afterall it's crucial that he gets it right.

I for one am glad he's not rushed into the market and made some impluse buys. There's been far too much of that in recent years and its got us nowhere.

Targets will be identified so everyone just needs to be patient.

i am just getting a little nervous that everyone who has played for us on loan or we are trying to sign is not coming.

These are genuinely worries that many football fans have, including us. But there's plenty of targets to choose from that maybe of same quality of the loanees we've had or even better. There will be players we want that won't be likely to come, for instance presumably Given and Heskey. Its just a case of being patient tbh.

I'd have thought that sven has a very long list of players.

He probably has 5 or 6 ideas (maybe even more) for each position he wants to fill. He now know the type of player that will get you out of this division and i'm sure he will get it right.

Lets just chill out and let him get on with it.

Maybe it's all gone a bit quiet around the club because Sven has some decisions to make which will shape the next phase of his career.

Fulham or Villa.

Its not impossible now is it? If you think about it, here is the man who followed money all the way to Meadow Lane. A quick fix return to the Prem with a club in trendy London. He wouldnt even stop to think about it.

Yes, the same man that "followed money" when he turned down like £2 million from Notts Country, to help save the club.

What he did about that money was decent, no doubt, but he did follow money there in the first instance and is a money manager. A Prem club could lure him easily.

We will see ...

It has gona a bit quiet though, has it not? I mean surely this is his make or break season, there should be links, rumours aplenty, bits being tactically leaked to sell season tickets.

Why is there nothing at all?

He could be off, you know it as well as I do, its possible.
