hackneyfox Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Posted by someone on the roof Nicky Maynard, and David Nugent to sign by end of the week. Yak deal is OFF, Heskey NOT returning. Still hopeful on completing deal for Naughton BUT he wants to stay in London so QPR could sign him. Shay Given offered £35,000 pw with HUGE promotion bonus as incentive. Earnshaw wants to stay in Midliands and holding out for a deal from Leicester or Derby.

Yak not coming has it's ups and downs. Naughton and Heskey not coming are disappointing but expected. Earnshaw can **** off, hate him so much!
Libertine Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 From 'a friend who is a catering student which may involve work at Fusions restaurant.' Wow.
Callabinho Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Well this is balls, just read the naughton thread. And as far as I know we haven't approached Maynard....
hackneyfox Posted 14 June 2011 Author Posted 14 June 2011 From 'a friend who is a catering student which may involve work at Fusions restaurant.' Wow. He doesn't mention them being a student at all, does that make it more believable for you? As likely as any other rumour on here. with the exception of Bert.

Ric Flair Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Haha, if we're offering Given £35,000 a week with add-on's then either Yakubu is one greedy bastard or there's more to it than meets the eye. There's question marks over Maynard for me, far too injury prone for the money we'd have to pay. Can think of better options.
hackneyfox Posted 14 June 2011 Author Posted 14 June 2011 The same source, although sauce may be more applicable, says 2 million offer made for Mee and Cunningham.
Simo86 Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 The same source, although sauce may be more applicable, says 2 million offer made for Mee and Cunningham. Isn't Cunningham still injured though? Or will he be fit for pre season? I'd take both if it were true though!!
MrSpaM Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Earnshaw wants to stay in Midliands and holding out for a deal from Leicester or Derby. Flippin eck, Derby are going to have most of forests squad by the end of the transfer window
hackneyfox Posted 14 June 2011 Author Posted 14 June 2011 Isn't Cunningham still injured though? Or will he be fit for pre season? I'd take both if it were true though!! I was wondering about that, if he hasn't had a run out would you risk a million plus on him?
RyanB89 Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 I thought cunningham was only out until april/may and would be fit for pre-season
Bryn Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Those all sound completely fabricated to me, plausible but fabricated.
Simmo86 Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 I thought cunningham was only out until april/may and would be fit for pre-season I tweet I had from Ben Mee 3 weeks ago said he would be out for another 8-10 weeks, so another 5-7 weeks from now.

wattolcfc Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 I'm hearing the Yak deal could be back on but only if he get's a SUBSTANTIAL promotion bonus and big pay-rise should we go up!
Corky Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Earnshaw hates Derby, so say the Forest fans, so he won't go back there. We should offer something. Given would be a fabulous signing.
Simmo86 Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Earnshaw hates Derby, so say the Forest fans, so he won't go back there. We should offer something. Given would be a fabulous signing. It just fits in to the song nicely, I don't think he really hates Derby. Just like Waghorn doesn't
artursteppe Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 I've wanted the Yak all along, however if it is him that can't commit, he can foxtrot oscar. Nicky Maynard could become a star, I reckon he only has a year left on his contract - £3m would get him - last two seasons in the Championship about 1 goal in 2 matches - only 24 years old. Earnshaw, not for me. Derby reckon they will sign two more strikers, one could be Earnshaw. Given is a Celtic fan, and would rather be there than at Leicester - but he is probably the best goalkeeper in the country, whatever! Naughton, much as we all love him, anything over £3m should be spent elsewhere. Another loan deal could suit everyone, unless Spurs can get £4m or £5m from someone else. Heskey, depends on who else we can get. Yukubu and Heskey wages = £3m + £3m for Yukubu transfer + £1m for Heskey transfer..........£7m out of any budget for them is too much! I think David Nugent could be a revelation this season. When he was 23 at Preston he looked the best prospect in the country. After three years at Portsmouth and all their shit in that time, which would affect any player, he now only looks fairly good. Sven will bring him on. Still only 26, he can't have lost his skill and ability, just his enthusiasm whilst at Portsmouth. This could prove to be a great piece of business by Sven.
Corky Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 It just fits in to the song nicely, I don't think he really hates Derby. Just like Waghorn doesn't I am aware of that
