Mickey O'Neil Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 I got the big ones...battery powered noice cancelling ones. The Bose (same price) did sound better IMHO. My wife said the Bose were a "...bit old man headphones" I'm begining to think that's what made me buy them, and not wait for new stock Bose!!!
millzi Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 I've got a few foreign ones but I wouldn't wear any other English ones Same. I bought a few when Sports Direct had that £25 football shirt thing going on last season, I'm a big fan of bright coloured shirts so I got Steau Bucharest which is lime green, FK Austria - orange, Roma 3rd kit - black and orange and Porto away - yellow. Nice. I had a black pair (yellow on the inside) but some how lost them. I've no idea how. I think I left them at a Halfords in East London. Eurgh. I paid £91 for mine so not too bad for a pair of Wayfarers. They were price matched from £120 to £108, then I managed to get 15% off. Keen. Ahh not bad. I paid £105 from Heathrow airport duty free shop when I was leaving the country with my last remaining pounds. They've been put to semi good use over here so far, hoping in summer I will get my monies worth out of them.
Itsthejoeker Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 I collect football shirts too. But no English tops (LCFC only) that is wrong. Mainly when I go on holiday I buy the local team. I never were them though Ive got a games room in my house I've got them on display there. Aye, I'll only buy a shirt if I've been to the city/town. Buying them from Sports Direct just isn't the same as going to the ground and getting them. I got the big ones...battery powered noice cancelling ones. The Bose (same price) did sound better IMHO. My wife said the Bose were a "...bit old man headphones" :whistle:I'm begining to think that's what made me buy them, and not wait for new stock Bose!!! You should have bought Solo HD's, they sound exactly the same, if not better, and cost 2 thirds of the price. They're much more comfortable as well, and don't eat batteries weekly.

Soar Fox Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 I have one of those. I hope you didn't go for the same awful engine as me though (unless its a company car) I've just bought a Slazenger V500 Pro (cricket bat) 2lb 10oz. Newbery Navarone and MRF Genius on the way out. Any cricketers out there? What kit do you go for? Went for the 2.0L quattro. It was between that & the 1.9TDI.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 How-far-do-you-run!?!? Not nearly as far as I used to, so I'll only look like a COCK for a short period of time
