I also think him and Nugent would work well together so I hope there's some truth to these rumours.
VampLCFC Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Am I the only one completely underwhelmed by this?? 31 goals in 130 appearances, shipped out on loan 2 or 3 times, then told to find a new club.... Says it all
Finchy Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 The wiki thing is clearly just a City fan but the twitter stuff has to be right, he's clearly signed for someone and since we're the only rumoured team. I'd say it's pretty much a certainty.
m00nie Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 melissad27 melissa derbyshire Night everyone, looking forward to all been revealed .. I hate secrets :-) tell him if gally tells us Hayley gets her back doors smashed in he could at least tell us something decent....

Ashley Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 What exactly are people expecting with us in this transfer market? Also January? Matt Derbyshire - not good enough Yakubu - Lazy, shit, past it, older than 28, ONLY SCORES GOALS which WIN GAMES. Long - too much Maynard - Moaning about him only scoring above 20 goals once considering he's just come back from injury? Really people have a word with your selfs, we are Leicester City not Real Madrid or Barcelona we will not be signing world class strikers in the championship. In a few years time maybe....... Just maybe.

Tom17LCFC Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I've decided I want Derbyshire plainly because of his missus. and the fact he'd smash this level to pieces IMO.
Chryatis Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I've decided I want Derbyshire plainly because of his missus. and the fact he'd smash this level to pieces IMO. That's as good a reason as any
CKB Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I'd take Derbyshire on one condition, he changes his second name.... Seriously tho i would take him and he would come on a free? or very cheap at least!
One Arm Babba Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I hope he signs. There will still be one more striker added though. Derbyshire is ok, but hardly the big name signing.
irDeano Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I hope he signs. There will still be one more striker added though. Derbyshire is ok, but hardly the big name signing. 10 letters is pretty big
Cropwellfox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Rotherham v Leicester ??? Nottingham v Notts more likely
Mack Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Very good player. Would be deadly at championship level.

Says it all Yet everyone raves over Shane Long, before last year he scored 23 in 131 games now he's 'worth' 7 mil?? He's had 50 games in the prem and got 5!! Derbyshire would be a quality player here, no doubts about that.
