Darkon84 Posted 5 July 2011 Posted 5 July 2011 Gone a bit quiet innit? Too quiet. I commented and asked Gallys father in law if he knew what was happeneing, as he mentioned it was about 90% certain a couple of weeks ago, but no reply and no news from anyone anywhere. I think he would be a great partner for Nugent

Would definitely be happy with Nugent, Derbyshire and another though. Although I think that might be striker over kill with Vassell and Waghorn still about.

Yea im sure theres still plenty going on in the background, but from appearing to be so close to getting Derbyshire, to then deathly silence....I was actually really looking forward to Derbyshire being here, evn though alot of people slate him. Still over the moon with the Nugent signing, and I still think Vass and Waghorn have a part to play. If Vassell can get a chance playing down the middle, his pace will still scare the hell out of defences. I woulndt mind seeing Nugent and Vassell given a chance up top together
