KSI should be likable - working class boy done good just doing what he loves.

Unfortunately he's turned into a gaping asshole. He's just a ****ing skin puller. I hate him, I hate his moron fans, and I hate this stupid dumb ass little freak show he's created.

One of those situations where everyone says 'oh it's harmless' but actually the cultural impact he's having is net loss. He has influence and he uses it to make the next generation objectively worse.

I tripleloath him.

And sadly he's far from the only influential "YouTuber" to be doing exactly that.

There are deeper layers to it.

The way he's extracting cash from children is criminal. He's a new breed of 'celebrity' and has cultivated this direct line of cash flow that is almost exclusively from early teens. He's buddied up with that Logan Paul who has been found defrauding his 'customers' - again largely teens.

It's very exploitative but the veneer of happy go lucky entertainer done good is just washing with folk.

Dillon Danis is money ain’t he, I’ve never gave a shit about these daft little events but I’m actually somewhat invested

No he isn't. As soon as he loses he'll go back to irrelevance. An mma fighter that never fights and a jiu-jitsu prospect that's record is abit of a joke even in a sport where losses happen extremely often. His biggest claim to fame is getting fly kicked by khabib whilst gargling connor mcgregors balls along side being choked out in a night club by a man who makes chocolate for living after googling himself and giving it the 'do you know who I am' routine.

Yep, that's exactly what's happening.

That being said, the "happy go lucky" conman and exploitation of kids sadly are not new phenomena, it's just that the tools have become most sophisticated.

And the cashless society had escalated the efficacy of the grift.

Twenty years ago you'd have had to pester savvy parents to buy some crap from an idol. Now preloaded debit cards are all the rage and it's separating kids from cash with amazing efficiency.

Everyone has to make a living but something about this is just unpalatable.

If anyone knows a good stream please let me know, I’m interested in this but not invested enough to spend £20

Have you got one of the loaded Amazon sticks?

I'd imagine you can find it on there

It's not only unpalatable, it's unconscionable, too.

You'd think that governments would be looking to better regulate and take such grifters in hand, but sadly a lot of them are still evidently driven by the good wholesome ideas of laissez-faire and caveat emptor. Ethical behaviour be damned, apparently.

As long as they're paying whatever paltry tax they're due to it won't matter.

I think the upsetting thing is that KSI has waxed lyrical about how much his YouTube success means to him and his life. He doesn't need the extra. He's more than capable of being a millionaire from god's profile.

The prime, the merch, the grift. It's just unnecessary.

Too many people thinking that greed and "more more more" is virtuous. And the most powerful nation on the planet enabling it by having that principle as its guiding star.

Anyhow, on topic: the whole YouTuber boxing idea was a farce when it started, it's a farce now and it will be a farce until the day the idea dies.

None of that really relevant to what I said tbh, I’m not talking ability here am I else the geezer wouldn’t be fighting Logan Paul in his prime years, the man can sell a fight though

If he could sell a fight more than a few hard-core mma and jiu jitsu fans would know who he is.

Hes also proving why all the talk in the world wouldn't get anyone in a wider audience to tune in.

Unsure why commentary are trying to make this seem a serious fight.

A numerous time jiu-jitsu world champion is just here to get a pay day and have a laugh.

Can tell by how he's asking Logan to punch him

They keep quoting him as a multi time world champion and it's slightly disingenuous.

Funny he couldn't even take him down.
