iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Leeds away potentially. Also Southampton, Brighton, Pompey. (Weekenders & Birthdays). West Ham. Derby & Forest are alright, will probably end up there.
Walker Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Barnsley. Been there the last couple of seasons and it's been my favourite away day for the season on both occasions. Ground close to the Town, loads of boozers, thousands up there and a great atmosphere created by the City fans. Also looking forward to West Ham, Brum and (as always) Forest
Yojoe36 Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Derby last season was great. I sat next to the home supporters, and it was just awesomeness when we scored. Forest was good until Weale's cock up. It looks like West Ham is going to be good. One of my mate's is a West Ham fan, and I went to see them play last season against Sunderland. Wouldn't mind going again, but to see Leicester
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 July 2011 Author Posted 22 July 2011 Is the atmosphere quite good at upton park? What are the stewards like regarding standing in the away end?
LE15 Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Upton Park has always had a good atmosphere when I have been in the past.
sphericalfox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Dont know why, but i really like Barnsley away! must be walking round the market which still sells chinos! (not that i wear them) must be because we beat them quite often, oh and the Joseph Brahma pub in the town centre! Proper BNP town too, stu's kinda town.
Foxes1 Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Barnsley near the town centre , not far from the Railway Station and always a good following. Followed closely by Rotherham away in the Carling Cup at the DEATH VALLEY STADIUM, still at least its in the summer, not a cold wet, windy night in November, like in the JPT a couple of years ago.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Barnsley is always a really enjoyable day out.
Spudulike Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Bristol City. Backless seats, low roof....bit like the old Filbo pens. Lloyd Dyer injury tme equalizer - epic celebration in the away end. They love us down there Awriiiiight me babbers
BrummieFOX Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Followed closely by Rotherham away in the Carling Cup at the DEATH VALLEY STADIUM, still at least its in the summer, not a cold wet, windy night in November, like in the JPT a couple of years ago. That game was horrific! 2-0 loss in the rain.
Leicester Lass Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 That game was horrific! 2-0 loss in the rain. Fryatt missed a penalty too.
cambridgefox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Looking forward to Birmingham as have a mate who lives there,so can make a weekend of it. Loved Derby last year, but even though we lost enjoyed Watford away ,albeit for the pub before hand,we(fans)didnt come to life until the 2nd half.shame its midweek as i might struggle with work.
Guest MattP Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Always enjoy West Ham, proper pubs and pie and mash Like someone earlier said shame all the decent coastal venues have been fcuked by playing in the winter...... Never been to upton park, but their fans always seem to generate a good atmosphere, and a day out to london and the flying scotsman always appeals to me! Whats yours? Flying scotsman? too busy, get yourself to the Griffin on the Camberwell road.
Jakemoore Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Westham away, Millwall away and palace away are all very local to me so those would be a guaranteed...I can't wait! And in addition I would absolutely love to draw Orient in a cup because that away day back in 2008 was epic!
East London Fox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Been to West Ham a few times, and have to say, their fans are pretty good! as a neutral there, it's a good day out. Counting down the days til Cov though!

The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 July 2011 Author Posted 23 July 2011 Correct. Each dance costs a quid. Brilliant place. Go there before the england games, but millwll away was the first time most of my mates went there. Loved it. Til a fat geordie ran on stage and got bollock naked himself!

Guest Col city fan Posted 23 July 2011 Posted 23 July 2011 Disagree about palace. I done millwall last season, so will do west ham this time. Completely agree regarding leeds. If, and its a bit if we are in the top two by then, I know every fan will be on their feet throughout . I hnpe if we go up anywhere its at leeds. That'd be schweet (for personal reasons!) Love the atmosphere at west ham, apart from all the blowin fackin bubbles nonsense. Would like to go down to east London and turn em over
Walker Posted 23 July 2011 Posted 23 July 2011 I'm now nearer to many of the away teams than Leicester so I'm looking forward to Leeds (15 mins walk from my flat), Hull and, of course, Blackpool. Where abouts in Leeds you live mate? I live in Headingley now so in the same boat
MONreborn Posted 23 July 2011 Posted 23 July 2011 I'm in Leeds living in headingley as well should go down to some of the nearby games together save on petrol!
Dan Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 My faves; Crystal Palace - Very traditional ground, class atmosphere, normally standing on mass. Millwall - Was absolute shit last year but in L1 it was on par with Southend. It could be interesting too with it being our last but one away game, we could take a big number there and things could get tasty IMO. Leeds - It's got potential but won't ever live up to it unless we have a big number stood with refusal to sit, thankfully this year, there is a high chance of that. Forest - Always a huge end, always mass standing, and this year I feel we've finally got a good chance of winning. Derby - Was superb last year, can't see it being AS good but I'm looking forward to it. Barnsley - Been three times and loved it every time, can't wait for it this year. Bristol City - In my top three, always a superb atmosphere, shame we won't have so many due to it being a Tuesday. West Ham - Never been before but I can see it being epic. Birmingham - Real sickener this has been moved to Sunday, ruined really, I've never been before but it's local and most likely will be a big game, I'll be in attendance no matter what. Portsmouth - Shame both occasions last year were ruined by shit stewarding or shit on the pitch, still had a good night on the 6-1 but could be better, bring on this year.
