Danny the Fox 95 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Miller in talks according to SSN With us or Forest?
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Not sure what to think of Miller. Would prefer Keane but I am sure Sven will make the right choice
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/West-Brom-striker-Ishmael-Miller-set-for-2m-move-to-Nottingham-Forest-article783576.html Nottingham Forest are set to land striker Ishmael Miller from West Brom for £2million. The former Manchester City trainee has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at The Hawthorns. But the powerful forward is a proven scorer at Championship level and has agreed to move to the City Ground to play for new boss Steve McClaren. Miller, 24, is being offloaded after Albion splashed out on Reading’s Shane Long.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 The mirror also said we had SIGNED Derbyshire. To be honest i would deffo take Miller, we need someone big to lead the line and hold the ball up. Hes decent in the air, pretty quick, strong and has a rocket left foot. Better than what weve got and will let Nugent on the wing were i think he will better so hope we sign him.

Austin Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I'd happily see him in a Leicester shirt. In the stands, with the fans, not involved in 90 minutes of football for our club. Ever.
andog Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I'd happily see him in a Leicester shirt. Yeah me too, aslong as he washed the ****er before he returned it and ****ed off back to West Brom promptly after * BTW I did read your white text also
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 If he is behind his injury problems I would take him, has everything in his locker if he realize his true potential then he will be an asset for us
He's not bald Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I'd happily see him in a Leicester shirt. In the stands, with the fans, not involved in 90 minutes of football for our club. Ever. WBA's cast off's?, we're better than that!
Jobyfox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 This is a quote from a Forest forum talking about the signing of Derbyshire: "brilliatn player at blackburn! now over the next 21 days, wrap up miller deal. then just a winger and a backup defender and we will compete for automatics! " They now think that, after signing Derbyshire and maybe Miller, that they are going to take the league by storm. You come on here and many people are incredibly apathetic about Miller and Derbyshire. It just makes me realise how our expectations have been raised. Miller and Derbys don't sound like bad signings - but they're not really exciting signings either. Everyone here wants: Maynard, Long, Yakubu or Keane.
andog Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I want Maynard or Keane, or even Benjani... Benjani is currently a free agent!
bluearmyfox23 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I want Maynard or Keane, or even Benjani... Benjani is currently a free agent! Would like to see benjani at Leicester this season.
Jaspa Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Would like to see benjani at Leicester this season. I think he is Benjani
Petchy Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 If I remember correctly Benjani was training with Stockport with a view to sign!
Happy Fox Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 BertLcfc LcfcInfoMan Leicester City will not be signing a new striker until next week at the very earliest. 1 hour ago
Bezzanator89 Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Leicester City will not be signing a new striker until next week at the very earliest. This is getting ridiculous. We seem to repel decent strikers quite well these days.
Dicko Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I don't see why everyone is so against us signing Miller, he's a good striker with pace and power who can score goals in the Championship. I know we've got money now, but we are still a Championship side and every signing we make isn't going to be a world-beater. We need players to get us promoted and I think someone like Miller would score goals in this team. This time last year if we'd been linked with the likes of Miller or Anichebe people would have been excited. Now our fans seem to think that these sort of players are below us just because we've got money. It doesn't matter, we're still in the same division. We still need a striker, and Miller is better than what we have.
