Well, from his recent records, just because he's had bad injuries and never played much in the last season or two, it doesn't necessarily mean he'll struggle playing well for clubs. I would want him here as he has good physical presence, got pace, is a danger man and doesn't run around like a headless chicken for the ball.

SS has said that West Brom have agreed a fee of £2m with us and the Trees (though I think that's been denied by City). Possibly Miller doesn't want to go to riot-torn Nottingham and would prefer to come to us - hence, not entering into talks with McLaren ? Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if this deal is back on with us - we know Sven rates Miller.

Austin Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I seem to remember him being pretty useful a few years back, it's hard to tell what he'd do here if we did sign him. I think it's a case of, this is a signing that if offered to us a few years back we'd have probably snapped there hand off, whereas now, with our extra cash flow we're going to look elsewhere. Time will tell, I know everyones desperate for a striker, but theres no point rushing around and signing anyone for the sake of it. I'm sure Sven has someone lined up, whether that happens today, tomorrow or even at the end of August we'll all quite simply have to play the waiting game. In SVEN we trust.
