Stevosevic Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Get down to a basic root level and its down to poor education etc which leads to no hope, no future, no reason to care. Its happened for generations. When you have something like 50% of the wealth in 1% of the populations pocket, it doesn't help. No it doesn't, but if a government catered for 1% of the population they would never get in power. And with regards to education, alot if people are not interested at schools etc.... No matter how much you stress the importance of it.
ramboacdc Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 heard they are all outside my work in leicester and police protecting it. fuuuck.
SemperEadem Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Some of the Racism on here tonight is shameful! Do you tool's not realise we live in modern times.

Its happened for generations. When you have something like 50% of the wealth in 1% of the populations pocket, it doesn't help. As the population grows the minority element grows in numbers of course and so I think this is part of what we are seeing here. This would have been on a much smaller scale years ago, wouldn't it?
acooling08 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Nick, I understand that just blaming ethnic minorities is out of order, you can't deny that the majority of the youths are black. So don't have a go at people who are just making observations from the videos/pics they have seen showing majority black rioters.
21st Century Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 So it only affect these certain little bas-tards does it? ffs They grow up somewhere where the education system is barely existent and is now being cut further. They've learnt shit from their parents that also grew up in the same condition in the same estates, they'll do the same to their kids. If you broke that cycle gave them a reason to give a shit, like a chance at a decent job, hell even a chance to go to university, they wouldn't risk that to chuck a bin through a window. Bankers can gamble our money and then we'll repay that money to bail out their businesses , while that money should be going to stopping things like this happening through a positive social structure!
ramboacdc Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 before anyone starts pulling the race card i was there all day and i couldnt say it was one minority.l multi cultaral rioting. west indians were going mad in my shop but the aisans. they just seemed to be like "errr what the ****?" can say its any race. we are all human and the majority are acting like *****.

I'm not trying to make enemies here, but I always thought FT was really reasonable. There's a difference between saying, "that looter is black" and "the ethnic minorities are doing this". One is a factual statement, the other is a gross generalisation. Maybe I've misinterpreted your statement and if so, I apologise. No real harm meant
Happy Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 It is not education that is the problem, it is more moral and spritual values that are non existent, as a person I believe that Youth are encouraged to develop a strong sense of purpose, empowering their own transformation and leading them to contribute to the advancement of society. Young people’s spiritual capacity, the basis for their own happiness and sense of well-being, is a powerful force for social change.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I really hope some of the rioters get the kicking of their lives tonight. Attack the kebab shops kiddies, see what happens.
MikeyT Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I could have sworn that I put you on ignore after your third post. How do you feel about the fact that our collective ancestry can be traced back to North Africa? Does it make you feel a bit seedy when you wank?

I'm not even going to waste my time explaining why because clearly you're too deluded a backwards imbecile to ever understand. And to whoever +1'd this comment (probably lestajigs I assume), go find your nearest cliff. I can't believe I have to share a planet with you people.

Lamby Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I've said exactly who it is in my posts mate. Its Eltham locals that most happen to suuport Millwall and the odd one is a EDL supporter Right, being my home town I have the low down on it Charlton/Millwall/Palace fans (about 400) gathered in pubs to save the town from being looted, the blacks sent round on twitter and BBM that it was a NF group (when it wasn't) and then they come up to kick off and ended up only sticking a flare in a bin outside Boots in the high streets, basically all thats happened. They were called EDL as they called themselves the Eltham Defence League

I grew up on an estate, bought up by a single mother that i never listened too and went to a shit school! turned to drugs and drink at a young age, but got myself out of that cycle myself and now have a beautiful daughter at the age of 3 that i fear i dont even wanna bring her up in this shit hole of a country anymore and im only 25 ffs...Also there will be some youths that have been through the same thing but are not there rioting! and as for the somali's im not racist but i dont believe they should be here in the first place!
Vennegoor10 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Genuinely can't see an end to all of this at the moment. More and more people gathering in more and more areas of the U.K, no government plan or response as yet. It's coming to the stage where we have to make sure we are home before it starts to get dark. 'Vigilante groups' could possibly lead to further violence as rioters vs civilians street war continues. You can make a television plea, warn of heavy handed policing and of prison sentences but this people just won't listen and don't care. It is now viewed as the under privileged against the police and the government. There is a certain gang mentality to the groups of rioters. Yes they are meeting to loot and burn but also believe they are putting two fingers up to everyone who has looked or is looking down on them. Scary.

Granted but in our society self worth seems to be gained thorough work > money > material wealth. If you've got no chance of that you've got no reason to care. You're outside of society.
lcfcadam Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 They were called EDL as they called themselves the Eltham Defence League That is not just a little bit thick.
