If we did get SEB then we coud go with this chant :

ole ole ole ole

Ebanks blake blake blake

Ebanks blake blake blake

I like it, and he's already got maybe the best chant going - the one to the tune of "Baby, Give it up." It must be a name that lends itself well to a catchy song.

To the tune of 'Shake' by Kool and the Gang:

Blake, Blake, Blake (da da da)

Blake, Blake, Blake (da da da)

(Ebanks) Blake you beauty!

Then again, maybe not.

He hit the bouncer on the head slyvan slyvan

police they call it gbh slyvan slyvan

he puts the ball between the defenders legs

turns around and shouts nutmegs

ebanks blake is wanderers #9

that best ebanks one, was done when only torres #9 was about (so beat the whole #9 song phase - but was the orginal) and involves his handbag assault on bouncer and famous charlton away nutmeg goal from corner flag

He isn't worth 3.5m imo, 2.5m at best

you having a bubble bath? he's won the championship golden boat two years running until we got promoted

guy will get 20+ goals piss easy in this league

shame for you guys that he wont be sold though!

That Mick McCarthy love him or loathe him is a good manager IMO, are you happy with him?

I don't know. I read that more as 'we've had no formal bid so no-ones leaving right now' - maybe a concrete bid of £3.5 mill might change things?

Hey, Wolves fan here in peace, you guys kind of remind me of Wolves from the 90's when we started trying to buy our way into the Premiership but failed repeatedly!.

It's very tough when you become the big fish with the big spending power, all of a sudden everyones hates you and wants to beat you as no doubt you will learn this season

Anyway back on thread topic, SEB will not be sold at any price as he's an important player in our squad, he loves it at Wolves and we love him.

I wish you luck in your promotion bid, should be a good season for you.

he's one of those managers who fans opinions change from week to week.....

when we're winning its great, when we lose he's public enemy #1, he does make the odd bizare decision and he is also very stubborn in not changing when the match needs a change (tactics or subs)

end of day he's done terrific job getting us up and keeping us up twice, but he's not afraid to blow his own trumpet when he gets it right and neither are the die hard mick fans

he's done cracking job this summer building a strong spine with ohara and johnson so credit to him

Come on Sylvain.

McCarthy has apparently said today that none of his star players will leave this window. Suppose E-B isn't necessarily considered one of those though.

We're going all out to get Ebanks-Blake this week, Sven wants him in before Saturday.

Sorry to be a little negative but is there any actual proof of this??

I've tried to contact Martin Swain today (who gave me the original story) to get an update on this, but couldn't get him. I did speak to Stuart Austen though (Sports Editor), who said that McCarthy HAS indicated that he could sell SEB, "if the money's right" and they either, "get a replacement in, or have a good chance of signing someone else before the deadline". No mention of City though (to SA, anyway).

It's mentioned in The Sun today and from a football agent friend of mine who has had some dealings with the parties in question.
