Peltier - 6 - average game but probably a better option than paintsil

SSL - 5 - Robbed for the second (although it should have been a free-kick) but put in some good tackles. Passing somewhat suspect though

Bamba - 7 - Cool on the ball, pushed forward well. As on Saturday he can come out with his head held high

Konchesky - 6 - Pushed forward but crossing is not a strong spot so far

Fernandes - 5 - Unlucky with the free-kick and penalty (free-kick was harsh and penalty was a dive) but lucky to stay on the pitch after his tackle midway through the second half

Wellens - 5 - Was he meant to be captain tonight because I saw no real leadership in the middle. Lazy as usual while his passing is still very hit and miss (mostly miss)

King - 6 - A normal king game, short simple passes and the odd burst forward but unable to get on the end of anything this time out

Dyer - 6 - Generally quiet although he did Ok on the rare occasion he got on the ball

Gallagher - 5 - well shackled through out by the Bristol defence

Nugent - 8 - Good performance, great finish. If we could get players up to support him then he'd be a good first choice striker

Danns - 5 - Didn't get involved much

Schmeichel 6 - Hardly had anything to do apart from pick the ball out of the net twice, poor Kasper

Peltier 6 - Thought he wasn't spectacular, mediocre performance

St Ledger 7 - He will get slated, very very costly mistake, but I thought his heading and passing in the 2nd half was top notch

Bamba 7 - Another decent performance, did what had to be done

Konchesky 7 - Another consistent performance, Adomah is hard to contend just did enough for me

Wellens 6 - Good runs from midfield, tried to make things happen but still frustrating to watch

Fernandes 6 - Hardly makes a bad pass, didn't tonight to be fair but mediocre performance overall

King 6 - In and out the game, some decent plays but like all our midfielders mediocre

Dyer 7 - Good to see him back, we need him for his flare and pace

Gallagher 6 - Weak, but tried as usual not convincing though

Nugent 8 - Man of the Match, incredible game, good goal, good fighting spirit

Waghorn 3 - Shocking no influence at all set piece players are dire

Danns 4 - Lost the ball a couple of times

clearly we were watching a different game - he didn't bother to move unless he had the ball.

Fair enough he didn't move much off the ball, but no-one was, suppose he just seemed much better than the rest as he was at least moving with the ball instead of passing it back or sideways.

Peltier - 6 - Steady,Looks nervous and seems to have no confidence on pushing forward, or am just used to the quality we had in Naughton last season and alot of players wont match up ?

Bamba - 6 - Strong, Played ok

St Ledger - 5 - His fault for there 2nd goal, Seems ok to have the ball at his feet but alot of hoofing when he did

Konchesky - 6 - Poor distribution at times but pushed forward when he could

Wellens - 6 - Passing wasnt great, didnt really show any leadership, didnt do anything to warrant his place in the side?

King - 4 - Another invisible game, Offered nothing

Fernandes - 6 - Average, Unlucky with some tackles but got away with some, he'll do the dirty work for the team but not much more

Dyer - 5 - Lacks off the ball movement, did nothing with the ball at his feet and seems lethargic

Gallagher - 4 - Leightweight , poor passing, cant tackle, cant run, overall just a piss poor game

Nugent - 7- Ran his socks off, deserved his goal. played well considering he gets no support, no service

Schmeichel 6 Couldn't do much with the goals. 1 very good save otherwise solid.

Peltier 6 Ok but nothing great especially going forward.

St Ledger 3 Missed header in the 1st half led to the penalty, gave away their second goal and was generally inept.How this guy ever became an international player is a mystery.

Konchesky 4.5 Extremely unimpressed by his performance. Gave the ball away a lot and looked pretty dodgy defensively as well.

Fernandes 5 Gave away the penalty which I think was the correct decision was booked before and thus could have been sent off. I didn't think he contributed very much at all.

Wellens 5 Far too static much of the time and if he could delay the pass he did. Better in second half but overall not good enough.

Dyer 4 Really made very little impact. Yes he can run fast but that is about it.

Gallagher 3 His performance tonight was utter garbage. His corners are pathetic, he wimped out of just about every challenge and he was consistent in giving the ball away. Awful.

King 5.5 He made some good forward runs and got into some good positions but he simply doesn't seem able to truly impose himself on games at a consistent level.

Nugent 9 A simply great display. He almost single handed dragged us back into the game and scored a great goal. Worked very hard with hardly any support. Without him we would be absolutely hopeless.

Waghorn 4 Time to go. Sorry I like the lad but he's not good enough. His free kick summed it all up.

Danns 5 Didn't really do much when he came on.

Schmeichel - 7 - Nothing he could do about the goals, seemed about the only one to have a bit of urgency towards the end.

Peltier - 6 - Nothing wrong as such just frustrating that he doesn't have a run at their defenders every now and then rather than coming back everytime.

Bamba - 6 - Won most things in the air as per but got caught on the ball a few times.

St Ledger - 3 - Not just for his mistake, I think he had an all round bad game looked shaky, suspect passing and kept trying long balls that were going nowhere.

Konchesky - 7 - Does the simple things well, gets forward and knocks the ball around well, one of our better performers.

Wellens - 5 - Didn't really seem to do a lot but point, only seemed interested when the ball came to him.

Fernandes - 5 - Rash challenges, never got going.

King - 6 - Missing for large parts of the game but created a few chances.

Gallagher - 5 - Flapped it in every 50/50 challenge, poor delivery.

Dyer - 7 - Caused them problems with his pace, gave us width but we never gave him enough of the ball.

Nugent - 8 - Done the work of 3 men up top on his own, came short to try to create, poor service to him and worked off scraps all game. Happy he got the goal.

Will get really angry about some comments tonight, one mistake and it was a costly one but his passing was excellent second half and he stopped his crap long balls.

His heading accuracy all game was brilliant, his headers went to players he was ok with the ball at his feet except for one time, which was unfortunately costly.

People will say his shite, worse game than Mills(on Saturday) but in my view that's a load of bollocks.

Will stick by St Ledger tonight, apart from a horrendous mistake he played well.

What do you expect from a left footed player playing on the right hand side, how on earth is he supposed to take players on and run at them when he's on his weaker foot? You want the problem to improve then we need to stop ****ing about with right footed players on the left, left footed players playing on the right, it's no good, it never has been. How on earth are we supposed to make a flowing move when Gally and Dyer have to turn inside to play the ball, it slows it down. Gally tries some fancy flick off the outside of his boot, we lose the ball, the fans get on his back, Dyer runs in field with the ball and were not sure where we go, we lose the ball the fans get on his back. Waghorn comes on gets played out on the wing, left footed player on the right wing out of position, what kind of an opportunity is that? I know the team will gel and I know the team will come together, and there is a long way to go in the season, but why on earth do we have to make the situation far more difficult for ourselves.

Peltier - 6 - Didn't really get going at all. Missed the leadership of Mills inside him.

St Ledger - 4 - Poor. Cost us the goal by dwelling on the ball. Moved it on too slow and generally was poor.

Bamba - 6 - Tried to get things going, but caught out of position too often.

Koncheskey - 6.5 - Solid defensively, but kept looking too long too often with the ball. Needed more width from midfield.

Fernandes - 5.5 - Looked busy but didn't really have a major effective on the game.

Wellens - 6.5 - Tried to get things going, but didn't create anything of major note. Covered back defensively very well.

King - 4 - Usual King who went missing for 70 minutes.

Gallacher - 5 - Had a chance to earn a starting place and fluffed his lines. Didn't make any impact on the game, and was poor at set pieces

Nugent - 8 - Worked sooo hard and was rewarded with his goal. Only player with major positives from the game.

Dyer - 5 - Too narrow and too deep on too many occasions.
