@mrtonycox Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 I love this forum.. Everyone's views aired and only time to truly show us what's going to happen. As I said in my first post I hope I'm proved wrong...!!
foxes2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Many fans are calling for Svens head after the last couple of games. I think that this is far to early in the season for that i am in no way sugesting we should get rid or will get rid but i would like to know who the fans might want in charge if sven leaves the club!!!!! ............ BUT............... if they did get rid of sven who would us lot want to take charge...........?? please post any thoughts or sugestions in the event that we do eventually get rid of sven
purpleronnie Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Anyone who is experienced in the championship.
@mrtonycox Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 Good question. I quite like Reading's manager, done a very good job there in a short space of time without much funds and loads of injuries at the back of last season.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Can I start a thread 'IF AND WHEN WE CAN BRING DEAD PEOPLE BACK TO LIFE WHO WOULD WE LIKE SIGN OR HAVE AS MANAGER'????
Bettsy82 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Why is this even being talked about ! ridiculous topic.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Not even worth thinking about. Pointless thread. Give the guy a reasonable amount of time, we're THREE games in FFS If things were to carry on as they are and he was to get the chop guys that are around at the moment might not be then. I think the Thais will give him a fair amount of time, and rightly so. People seem to be forgetting, the objective is to go up. Just because we think we deserve automatic doesn't mean we can't go up via the play-offs: as long as we get there, I don't care how.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Oh no we have only got 3 points from 9. Not exactly going to walk the league like most people expect,

Mack Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Listen to the clueless Swede on this Radio Leicester interview.. He says he's worried.. Strange I thought he'd be livid.?? http://aggbot.com/link.php?id=14570905&r=tw&c=172 Sven is a very good speaker post match win or lose. He uses a degree of decorum and temper whilst speaking and it measured and thoughtful even if being put under pressure. These traits are often learnt through age and wisdom, and with this in mind I can only assume you are about 5 years old.

I can give polite, well-mannered and dignified interviews too (though maybe not to many posters on here.. ) But it wouldn't make me a great manager...
Raj Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Owners havent given Sven £10 million to spend and then sack him after a month. TIME!
foxes2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 the start of this season is reminding me of the start under paulo sausa, with the team having won only once in his first nine league games. we have got some hard games coming up we might find it hard

So you'd rather have Maddog or Holloway giving soundbite interviews and being 'entertaining', rather than Sven's measured approach? Seriously, why do you bother posting? You only come on here when we lose, you HAVE to be a WUM.
blueredswed Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Can't we temporarily ban members who create these bloody topics over and over again? Just group them into one big thread titled 'OVEREACTIONS'. I am agreeing with you I was sitting here in Sweden an looking on BBC updating and I can say it was a bad day for us. But the future is bright I know :scarf:
accessory Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 So you'd rather have Maddog or Holloway giving soundbite interviews and being 'entertaining', rather than Sven's measured approach? This is not about Allen or Holloway (or Craig Levein, who was equally "measured" after defeats). It's about the manager in charge NOW. Seriously, why do you bother posting? You only come on here when we lose, you HAVE to be a WUM. My record of posts speak for itself. I give credit when it's due, but when players and managers fail, it's the duty of the fans to say so and to evaluate the causes of such failure. Being in denial about our plight hasn't helped us in past seasons and will not help now.
ivarti Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Because of the sheer amount of 'Sven Out' topics. Can't you just reply with your view in one of the ones already made? This is turning into the Maynard threads again... My view MON situation, not the same as Sven Sven is now in has been here for a while, MON got things on the right track with three vital and qenious signings in Izzet (loan), Claridge and Lennon, Sven is far from that. MON was 44 when taking over at Leicester, Sven is in his 60's. Sven has no experience from this type of football league and has never ever promoted a team before Sven might have fantastic results in the past, but his short stint as director of football at Notts County can't really be described as great experience from lover league football. He has never before promoted a team from a lower division and has spent most of his time at the "upper shelf of football". This is a miss match, and seldom works. Plan 1, went down the drain, Plan 2, is not easy to see yet Sven tried to get out of this division last season with loan signings from the Premier League. That didn't work. All loan signings left, and a new team had to be in place and is not yet 100 % in place. Most of the players signed are not the quality needed to get out of this division and many of them played for struggling sides like Portsmouth, Crystal Palace and Preston last season. Mills signed from Reading and Peltier from Huddersfield who both lost in the play-off's. Captains Andy King, who was captain last season at a young age, was no dropped. He has not played from start. Matt Mills is then given the captaincy, dropped and King is back. Strange and not good man management. We will just wait and see were this will end, but I would love to see Sven change it, as I would have liked Peter Taylor, Micky Adams, Craig Levein and Paulo Sousa to have done the same, since all of them are great people who knows the game in and out and also at the same time are polite and nice, but that doesn't count when you use millions of pounds, can't win football games and have no real idea on how you can get your team to perform the way you would like
Petchy Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Why you quoting my post? Makes no sense. I was discussing the amount of these topics that are around and there should just be one definitive Anti-Sven one.
