Webbo Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 I haven't got any plans for the Bank Holiday and I don't fancy sitting at home. Is there anything going off locally?
Libertine Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 I might be getting a haircut. You can come with if you like?
Libertine Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 That's where I'm stuck. You can help me pick out of a magazine before. Nothing too risqué.
Libertine Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 It'll be something floppy-looking, I bet. Thinking of varying it up a little. Perhaps the Svennis?
BoneDog Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 Probably just pottering. Followed by a pub dinner with lamb in it and a lager or two.
Rincewind Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 I had an haicut today. The middle one. Went to Rons Churchgate. Ulteria motive. Wanted a reference and been going there for a few years. Been there since the sixties at least so well estblished hairdressers and reasonably priced. £8. There is a beer festival at Peterborough. I usually go but can't afford it this year. Around £16 train fare and a fiver to get in plus beer. Also I would probably want a Fest T-shirt. Instead may go to the Bridle Lane Tavern. Recently opened as a real ale pub and they are putting on their first fest.

Webbo Posted 26 August 2011 Author Posted 26 August 2011 Check out Strawberry Fields Festival. Some good fookin bands on, especially The Rifles. GIG The Rifles are worth paying £70 and to sit in the rain for two days off your tits on meow meow. Not quite what I had in mind.
Rincewind Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Went to a beer fest at the Bridle Lane Tavern today. It was OK. Went in later on with a mate. There was a band on and they played a song from the sixties and asked the audience to say who it was. My mate was right miffed when he got it right and there were no prizes. This is the first firse and I'm not giving any prizes either. All the older Foxestalkers will be in bed by now so heres the chance for the young uns to get one over them. Imagine me and you, I do I think about you day and night It's only right To think about the girl you love And hold her tight So happy together If I should call you up Invest a dime And you say you belong to me And ease my mind Imagine how the world could be So very fine So happy together
