Walshy5 Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 If everyone was fit and available what would your first choice 11 be? You may also include players that are out on loan. Just interested to hear peoples views. Mine would be this. 4-4-2 diamond Schmeical Paintsil Mills Tunchev Konchesky Wellens Fernandes Danns King Beckord Nugent
Narborough_fox Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Kasper Pantsil Mills St Ledger/ Tunchev Konchesky Danns Fernandes Johnson King Beckford Nugent
acooling08 Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Flat 4-4-2. Schmeical Peltier Mills Tunchev Konchesky Fernandes Wellens Danns King Beckford Nugent So basically your team with Peltier for Pantsil.
Kent Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Johnson is a bit of an unknown quantity but I'm sure when fully fit he would still be quality. The midfield three is the hardest decision.

Kent Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Why does no one put bamba? More to the point why does everyone put Tunchev who we've seen for 20 games in league one?
Number 6 Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Would go for: Kasper Peltier Mills Bamba Kochesky Fernandes Danns King Nugent Beckford Schlupp Personally think Nugent could drop slightly deeper and provide the link between midfield and attack. Think MJ will have a big role to play when fit too.
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Straight four four two Kasper Pelts. Bamba. Mills. Berner Danns. Wellens. King. Dyer Schlupp. Beckford
SuperScout Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Its hard for me to do this as I like to play with wingers and we don't really have any out and out wingers...
STEVIE B Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Would be interesting to come up with a starting XI combining last seasons players/loanees and this seasons squad ? Naughton is nailed on. Who would you pick ?
Webbo Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Its hard for me to do this as I like to play with wingers and we don't really have any out and out wingers... You should make a list of players we should sign and send it to Sven.
kingfox Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 4-4-2 definitely Schmeichel Pantsil Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Wellens Fernandes Danns King Nugent Beckford
The Doctor Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Schmeichel Paintsil Bamba St Ledger Konchesky King Johnson Fernandes Nugent Vassell Beckford Subs: GK, Mills, Abe, Danns, Schlupp. Tunch would be on the bench instead of Mills if he weren't out on loan.
wellsy Posted 16 September 2011 Posted 16 September 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Bamba Mills Konchesky Wellens Fernandes King Gallagher Nugent Beckford I believe Gallagher would be so much more effective behind the two strikers, and the killer ball is what we have lacked. Fernandes can hold the midfield with Wellens allowing a free role for King which is where he is at his most dangerous. And with Nugent and Beckford up top they would be formidable. Johnson is also competition for King when fully fit.
MattyR Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Schmeichel Peltier St. Ledger Mills Konchesky Fernandes Danns Johnson King Nugent Beckford Subs: Weale, Bamba, Wellens, Gallagher, Schlupp This five substitutes rule is a joke. I actually really rate Vassell but can't even find a place for him on my subs bench. Shows how good we are on paper aswell, time to show it on the pitch though lads!
Guest MattP Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 More to the point why does everyone put Tunchev who we've seen for 20 games in league one? Because he was class in those games and was the mainstay of a top european international side defence at his best. (shit now, when he was playing Bulgaria were a good side, missed out on qualification to Holland of euro 2008 by a point ) from what I've seen so far... Kasper Peltier Mills Tunchev Konchesky Wellens Fernandes King Vassell Beckford Nugent
Heskey2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 with danns and fernandes dropping back / wingbacks
Fox92 Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 4-2-3-1 Kasper Peltier -- Mills -- Tunchev -- Konchesky Wellens -- King Nugent -- Danns -- Vassell Beckford
