Whilst you could save up and buy players you want, you can't beat opening packs. Sadly the best I've got is Richard bloody Dunne which is even more annoying when you see Bert picking up a pack like he mentioned above..... how the hell did someone get 700K of coins to buy Ronaldo anyway???
Frank_mckenzie Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 From buying and selling players, start off small and work your way up like yesterday I managed to get falcao for 4k and sold him for 6.5k and then bought pepe for 7k and sold him for 10k

Still getting use to the features but doing alright, got a few gold packs and picked up some good players. Kalou being my stand out player, what are the online tournaments like in Ultimate Team.

Yeah, on previous editions of ultimate team I used to buy packs but it isn't usually as good as buying players off of the market. To get money you have to really buy and sell players, making a profit in the process. I haven't been on ultimate team for about two months now, but I was addicted as usual when it first came out. And what I wanted to do, and did, was buy and sell. I made about 20k in my first week, and it gradually builds up. Like I say, I haven't been on it, because of my addicition to Football Manager 2012, but I think I have about 70k from buying and selling players. It does take a long time to do, but you can easily make a profit, especially if you buy the right players. I always look for cheap World Class players obviously, but other than that, I tend to look for cheap Scott Parker's, Gareth Bale's, Jose Enrique (etc) - players like that sell really well and you end up making a good little profit which adds up for you. Once you get into the mode of doing buying and selling, it comes natural and you realise who and how much you should bid. I am not as good as players that do it all day, they are the people that have 700k etc, but I certainly do it good enough to build a good team. The other way is to buy and pack and get Ronaldo or Messi

Added Rossi (85) to replace Miccoli who drops Di Vaio off the bench. And Pirlo (83) has replaced Montolivo in the team and drops Aquilani from the bench.

If so then that should last for a game or two I think.

Bert must be the only person with more pack luck than me. As a result my team is awesome, just.. well.. I'm shit. IF Reus, Podolski Ozil, Schweinsteiger, Gotze, IF Muller Schmelzer, Hummels, Howedes, Lahm Weise Need to trade in Hummels for the IF version and then try and save up a hell of a lot to get IF Neuer and IF Podolski but that'll take me months.

I checked before I put him on the trade pile and the lowest he was going for was 55k up to 100k. Played it safe and put him up for 40k but somebody was daft enough to pay that much for him Making silver teams wouldnt be so bad if you could actually find somebody to play online.
