LCFC4EVER12 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 After Lee Peltier's great performance against Derby, should he be Sven's natural Right-Back, or should experienced John Pansil play? What are your thoughts? :scarf:
Guest MattP Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I've seen nothing this season that says Pantsil should be ahead of Peltier.
fleckneymike Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I've seen nothing this season that says Pantsil should be ahead of Peltier. He's ahead of him in the alphabet
martyn Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Peltier. He wasn't great against Derby however, thought he was a bit panicky in possession.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I'm happy with either in the team. Peltier has performed better so far IMO, but then again pantsil does that thing before kick off and does a lap of honour after..hmmm.

I think the kick off/lap of honour cannot be what should get a player near the team - I think it's great don't get me wrong but if you're seriously struggling who to pick out of someone who you say "has been better" and someone who does a "lap of honour". Nah, I don't mind Pantsil, Peltier every time for me though.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Fair point. Pantsil wears orange boots, I'd have him in the team.
Simmo86 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Pelts on performances so far. Although I do like Pantsil to
Bablemikey Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 No question about it for me, Peltier has delivered far better performances than Paintsil so far.

Guest ttfn Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Horses for courses. There will be times this season when Pantsil's experience will be absolutely invaluable. Right now, though, clearly Peltier has the shirt.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Peltier, but I would always have Pantsil on the bench as he can play in a variety of positions.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Neither... Bring back neilsen! Surely.....
Lcfclee Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Neither... Bring back neilsen! Surely..... Nah try Gary coatsworth quality player
Fox92 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Peltier all day long. I have seen Pantsill when he has played (obviously!) and I don't think he can defend. Been very impressed with Peltier, and very good in the air as well to say he is fairly smaller than other players.
bluebeau Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Peltier no doubts! He's a great signing by Sven & looks set to be our first choice right back. Plus he's always likely to get you a goal. Paintsil is also a good signing, but imo he can't take the shirt from Pelts.
Petchy Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I like both, Pantsil is more of a ball to feet defender though where as Peltier is more suited to going forward which is ideal for a diamond formation.
paddy Agyemang Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Pelts all day, younger more hungry, better going forward and is not a big name Shire quality = peltier
