accessory Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Jelavic is Bosnian by birth. Research revealed some disturbing tales about the area in which he grew up. During the 1992–1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina the city was taken over by the Croatian Defence Council who expelled the non-Croat population and set up concentration camps for Bosniaks What involvement (if any) he or his family had in these is not known. However he apparently has family links to the Croatian underworld. Perhaps it's not surprising that he seems to be so well settled at Rangers..
Izzet is God Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 With there squads at the minute, they are a bottom half prem team at best, BUT if they were in the prem, big players would go there, and they would probally be fighting for top 6, but that's the thing good players want to play in the prem, not some mickey mouse league (spl) I think most players go to the Prem no matter the club, prime example being QPR atm with the likes of Barton and Wright-Phillips. I think they'd struggle getting big players, wages would have an effect but having said that they may get a few unproven/flop big names looking for a revival.
dannythefox Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 What trophies though?? It's a poor poor league up there, and there quality has really shown this season from Europe!! Not saying we are a better club, but just makes me wonder if the team we had now was in the spl, I think we would be challenging for the tittle!!! Have they not won the league the last three season? I no the leagues not great but imo they would be in the bottom half of the prem there better than championship.

Ambitious Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 He'll have a completely different viewpoint in a few years time when we're an established premiership team.

No it's not great it's SHI*T And other then rangers Celtic,, it's league 1 standards, and come to think of it rangers or Celtic at the minute are no better then the Newcastle,s the west hams, that got relegated from the prem!!! So probally they are only championship material at the minute

panky and our gang Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Big fish in a little pond . Perhaps he is a little bit scared to play in England in case he gets found out ?
Tielemans63 Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Shit kris boyd in disquise That's exactly what I was going to post. Boyd scored for fun up there and he's done absolutely fook all down here. Same goes for Scott MacDonald.
Jon the Hat Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Ambitious striker wants to play in a big league SHOCK.
Merchant Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 If we got promoted he'd change his tune. At the moment this a complete non story.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 Care to explain? I am another who would like to explain your comment.. Father Ted is part-Serbian. Jelavic is Croatian. I'm guessing it's heavily related to that, but I've no idea what he's done.
Guest MattP Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 Waaaaay, good, I didnt want him here anyway the fascist ****. ?
somebum Posted 10 October 2011 Author Posted 10 October 2011 Father Ted is part-Serbian. Jelavic is Croatian. I'm guessing it's heavily related to that, but I've no idea what he's done. Oh right, immature petty inbred infighting.
Schlupp Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 I count it as a save if I'm honest,How many scottish league fans last year said Boyd would destory the championship?
accessory Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 Oh right, immature petty inbred infighting. Now who's stereotyping? I'd be interested to see what (if anything) Father Ted unearthed on Jelavic. I couldn't find anything directly linking him to crime or fascism, but even if there was, it might not be a massive issue at Ibrox.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 I think Father Ted kind of assumes every Croat is a Sieg Heiling fvckwit based on previous posts on the subject.

Bert Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 Not the first to say this, curtis davies?where is he now? crocked at brum and going nowhere..so who cares. What did Davies do apart from tell the truth? He always maintained a permanent move to a prem club was his priority and whilst that has now backfired, at least he was honest. I was as annoyed as anyone with the way his move came about, buy you need to be blaming his agent for that one, he got Davies the move.
21st Century Fox Posted 10 October 2011 Posted 10 October 2011 Its not like the guy has gone out of his way to slander our name, from the sounds of it he got asked about it and answered honestly, I can't see why people take these kind of stories so personally. Weren't we all laughing at the Rangers fan's sour grapes when Danns signed?!!

From memory of repetitive circular arguments that have happened here in the past, every single Croatian is a facist baby killer to Father Ted.
