cc_star Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Sven despite assembling one of the biggest squads in the division with way more than 2 players for each position has wheeled out the 'tired' card after his 2nd defeat in a week. Seriously WTF? Yes, I understand fatigue & recovery times, but c'mon? Really, with our squad and all young fit lads (apart from Howard, who's 10 times the player of Beckford but that's a different matter altogether), players who should be buzzing to be within reach of 2nd before today. In my book comes back to Sven's questionable motivation skills which raise their head almost every other game in our eternal 1 step forward 1 step backward therefore we'll always be mid-table battle.

Tiredness is not an excuse. When you go to work, you still put the shift in. You work more harder and more hours than footballers, but you still try.

Donut Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Instead of pissing the 2nd half of the Watford game up the wall, we should have been looking to spank them 4 or 5 nil which we clearly could have done, and looked to have build some momentum and positive energy around the place. But rather than do this we carried the boredom, lethargy and mediocrity into todays game and got spanked by a truly awful team. Tired my arse.

I'm sure most of us work dam hard to make a living and what they do each game has a big effect on my mood. I fvckin wish it didn't but I'm so angry tonight. Im tired, fvckin tired of supporting such a bunch of inconsistent shit. I'd rather watch a team who put effort in week in week out, why can't they do that? They're too soft, too pampered, too spoilt, too cosy with their money and a lifestyle that most of us can only dream of. I've had enough.

What was the point of "saving energy" if you're going to use it like that three days later?

Sven said in the summer he wants 2 players for every position. If any of them were "tired" why didn't he rotate them then? The players we have on the bench or don't make the the squad are more than capable to come in and do a decent job.

The following played 3 games this week: Kasper Peltier x3 Bamba x3 Konchesky x3 King x3 Nugent x3 Abe x2 ½ (give or take) Johnson x2 (Quality but not ready for two games in few days) We could have bought in several players with fresh legs and points to prove and got a result today. Pantsil Ball Danns Fenandez Dyer Gally Vassel Schlupp I know people on here will say they get paid enough etc, its a tough league lets use our biggest asset our squad!
