Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Might be a bad time to start this topic, but on todays form we will get beaten 5-0 at least. Any thoughts?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 3-0 defeat. Kasper Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Dyer Fernandes Danns Gallagher (Comes to something when I want him in!) Nugent Beckford
Corky Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Play like today and we'll get properly battered. Though knowing us we'll play a blinder and win it.
Kitchandro Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Hope for the best, expect the worst. Surely we'll be really gung-ho in this one as Sven will have learnt some lessons?
Narborough_fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Kasper Pantsil - Peltier - Bamba - Konchesky Johnson Danns - Fernandes Nugent - Schlupp - Dyer Subs: Weale, Gally, Abe, Howard, Beckford. Go back to a 4-3-3 proper width with Nugent and Dyer who are both very capable of playing out wide. Danns to be the creative force in midfield. Peltier at CB instead of St Ledger who is shite and Pantsil to play at right-back. Schlupp to play because at least he has something to prove unlike Beckford.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Author Posted 22 October 2011 Play like today and we'll get properly battered. Though knowing us we'll play a blinder and win it. Very true, i hope anyway . . . . . . . . . . . . . just dont hold your breath
kingfox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier St Ledger Bamba Konchesky Johnson Fernandes Abe Gallagher Vassell Nugent Subs - Weale, Pantsil, King, Schlupp, Beckford
Brooksy Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Schlupp, Fernandes, Dyer and Danns in for Beckford, Abe, King and Wellens. 2-0 win, typical Leicester.
Dylan Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 1-0 win... we only like playing good against decent teams... and we like to give shit teams a chance.
lovelcfc Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 prob knowing leicester win 2-0 and play the best they have all season but going for a 0-0 west ham havent had a great start have they ?
He's not bald Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Be ok actually, teams normally win their first match under a new manager!
pSinatra Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 After putting in little effort against Watford & no effort in against Millwall...........it appears they have been saving their energy for the West Ham game. West Ham should be worried.........not us about them.
Corky Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Very true, i hope anyway . . . . . . . . . . . . . just dont hold your breath I won't.
Dylan Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Schmeichal Peltier St Ledger Bamba Konchesky Vassell Fernandes Johnson Dyer Nugent Beckford Subs: Paintsil, Abe, King, Schlupp, Howard. Our defence doesn't really have much options for change, so I'd leave it the same. Our midfield and system needs huge changes, I'd go for pace and attack them. If we sit back and let them play at us, our defence WILL NOT handle it. I'd go a 4-4-2 with width and pace on each side- with Vassell and Dyer; tell them to run at the fullbacks and cause problems. I'd have Fernandes and Johnson in centre-midfield: King and Wellens should be dropped, didn't offer anything at all today. Only Johnson looked decent. I'd stay with Nugent up front; always works his socks off and is great. Beckford was appalling today, but I'd still give him a chance to redeem himself. Hopefully Sven has a word with himself and he performs. I'd put Schlupp on the bench; along with Steve Howard.
Kitchandro Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I want Schlupp up front with Nugent. The defence can't really change. The midfield? Who knows. Sven may as well put all their names in a hat and pick the first four that he draws out. As for the bench, no Weale, we do not need a sub goalkeeper.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Not usually one to get carried away by one thing happening in a game but EVERYTHING depends on the first goal.
LCFC FOX Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Kasper Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Danns Johnson Fernandes Beckford Nugent Dyer subs - weale , pantsil , king , vassel , schlupp
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Always wanted to go to Upton Park so I am excited as anything, and nothing will stop me. My team would be: Kasper Peltier St. Ledger Bamba (Sadly, we have no other option with Mills being out) Konchesky Vassell Danns Johnson Dyer Nugent Beckford Subs: Pantsil, King, Wellens, Schlupp, Howard.
FrankieADZ Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 If Im being totally honest.....I'd rather not think about it after today.
Callabinho Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 We couldn't handle millwall, we won't stand a chance against the hammers.
FrankieADZ Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 after a bit of thought.... I think we'll get hammered
Jiggers the Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Hearts saying it'll be typical Leicester and we'll play like heroes and nick it, but head says we don't look like we'll have it in us.
