Wymsey Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 4/5-1 to them. Their attacking options will be far too strong for our dispatched defence, and their midfield Nolan and Noble.. won't struggle with the 'lightweights' of Abe, Wellens and King. Let's just clarify this: Is Bamba suspended or not? Seems 50/50 with people's views on this.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Our ref for Sat has been confirmed. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/879528-stumbling-drunk-czech-referee-sends-off-three-players-for-no-reason#ixzz1biQmHKQD
samlcfc1 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 2-1 injury time winner from super sub big Steve
Basingstoke Fox Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I dont rate west ham too highly but I feel this is going to be like Gary megsons first game in charge against charlton. Hopeless 2-0 defeat where we never look like scoring.
Finchy Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I was expecting this to be the main game on the football league show, so I thought there would be a stream online but apparently it's Southampton and Boro. Getting very bored of Southampton, I don't care where those teams are in the table, that is a crap fixture.
Tielemans63 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 As long as the boys put in a performance and show they actually give a shizzle I'll be happy. It's my first away trip since Cov so I'm expecting to see some passion at the very least.
lcfc12 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 2-1 city Howard and Beckford to score in the second half after we go 1-0 down to a nolan goal
Fox1651 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Unless we get O'God back were going to lose this . . . . . . heavily
Gazza M Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I already made a prediction on another thread over what I thought the team might be, however now Sven has gone, I think there may be one or two differences. I see Rudkin and Stowell going for a rigid 4-4-2 and having a go at them. Well why not, what do they have to lose? We aren't expected to get anything! Kasper Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Gallagher King Wellens Dyer Beckford Nugent
Manderic's pants Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Allardyce seems confident: Allardyce said: “I hope it affects them in a negative way. “Most of their players who will be playing on Saturday are those who Sven will have brought to the club. “I hope it doesn’t affect them in a good or positive way.” http://www.london24.com/sport/championship/west-ham/west_ham_boss_hoping_to_take_advantage_of_leicester_turmoil_1_1110163
blueredswed Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Unless we get O'God back were going to lose this . . . . . . heavily I can oly say the past is past and the future is now. Good help Leicester if we don´t get a new manager quick :scarf:
Leicesterpool Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 TEAM For West Ham game 4-3-3 formation Kasper Schmeichel Lee Peltier Paul Konchesky Sol Bamba Sean St Ledger Gelson Fernandes Lloyd Dyer Michael Johnson Darius Vassell Jermaine Beckford David Nugent BENCH- Chris Weale John Paintsil Steve Howard Richie Wellens Paul Gallagher Perhaps try playing Johnson on the wing. Having Three upfront, If the 4-3-3 fails then switch to a 4-4-2 having Vassell on the wing & Johnson in centre with Fernandes.
lcfcadam Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Heart says 8-1 to the Hammers. Head says 1-0 to City.
CountesthorpeFox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 West Ham 3-1 City Kasper Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Fernandes Wellens Danns (goal) KIng Beckford Nugent Weale Pantsil Gallagher Vassell Abe
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think it's going to be 1-0 to somebody, if leicester win it's Beckford to score.
Jaspa Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 All depends on the lads state of mind. It'l be very interesting to see how Kasper, Gelson, Johnson, Vassell & Bamba have reacted. Heavy loss or an entertaining win. I would put out --------------Kasper - Pelts--Ledge--Bamba--Konch - ------Johnson--Gelson - Vass---------King---------Nuge - ------------Beckford Really hope the manager situation progresses somewhat too.
Walsho Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 3-2 win for City. City showing immense fighting spirit to come back from 2 goals down to equalise in the 89th minute. Then in the 3rd minute of injury time a pin point cross comes in from Lloyd Dyer, Steve Howard rises like a salmon out of water to send a thunderbolt header past the outstretched arms of Almunia.....The Bluearmy go wild.......as he runs to the chaos thats occuring in the away end he lifts his shirt to reveal a message reading "Come home Martin". Back in Leicester, Martin (sitting in his newly decorated flat in Stoneygate) is watching these unbelievable scenes and see's the immense talent & fighting spirit from the Foxes.... the sheer emotion from Steve's message makes him see the light and he decides to sign the 4 year contract that was offered to him at the Belfry hotel at 8.13pm on Thursday night. We then go on an unbeaten run until the end of the season to break the Championships points total. Nicky Maynard....(a £3m January signing) also finishes top goalscorer with 28 goals. And we all live happily ever after................... or We could get beat 3-0 and Steve McClaren is appointed boss on Monday morning
tomtom Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 TEAM For West Ham game 4-3-3 formation Kasper Schmeichel Lee Peltier Paul Konchesky Sol Bamba Sean St Ledger Gelson Fernandes Lloyd Dyer Michael Johnson Darius Vassell Jermaine Beckford David Nugent BENCH- Chris Weale John Paintsil Steve Howard Richie Wellens Paul Gallagher Perhaps try playing Johnson on the wing. Having Three upfront, If the 4-3-3 fails then switch to a 4-4-2 having Vassell on the wing & Johnson in centre with Fernandes. if you play 3 up front then your midfielders are not wingers , they're compact so you can't play dyer ! ...swap him for wellens and you might be on to something
Number 6 Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Would adopt a Man City type formation: Kasper Pelts Bamba St Ledger Konch Fernandes Wellens Schlupp King Nugent Beckford Got to go and try and win this. West Ham not that convincing at home.
butterslcfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 what time is everyone planning on getting down to London/where are you all drinking first?
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 The Green Man, wetherspoons near Bank tube station. On the same tube line for upton park.
Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 To be fair, Rudkin knows how to win games - albeit academy ones.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I remember when we were away to Crystal Palace last season, there was group of Leicester fans at the wetherspoons at Leicester Square, also a group of Barnsley fans were there aswell. The bar staff couldn't handle the two sets of supporters.
