butterslcfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Anyone else heading to the Green Man? Seems like a good option. Quick to get back on the tube then. Anyone wearing colours?
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Anyone else heading to the Green Man? Seems like a good option. Quick to get back on the tube then. Anyone wearing colours? Not many pubs around upton park welcome away fans.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I remember when we were away to Crystal Palace last season, there was group of Leicester fans at the wetherspoons at Leicester Square, also a group of Barnsley fans were there aswell. The bar staff couldn't handle the two sets of supporters. Just to add, there wasn't any trouble between the two sets of fans. It was just bloody noisy and the staff didn't like it
Ric Flair Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Anyone else heading to the Green Man? Seems like a good option. Quick to get back on the tube then. Anyone wearing colours? It's a bit of a pain in the arse though if you're coming in to Kings Cross or Euston and then getting the tube because for a start Bank is a big station and horribly busy and also the district line isn't running between Embankment and Aldgate East so if you get back on the tube at Bank you'll have to get the central line to Mile End and change there. There are loads of good boozers round Liverpool St if you don't fancy Euston/Kings Cross.
Joe. Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think we'll lose, but heart says a 0-0 draw. I'd take that very nicely right now.
whoareyaaa Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think we could actually beat West Ham, I also think that the players will have something to prove and with this team already beating the likes of Brighton, Southampton (derby - they aint that good anyway will be bottom half soon) I think could nick a 1 nil win. Or we will fall to bits and get beat 5-0 ( doubt it though )
whoareyaaa Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 3-2 win for City. City showing immense fighting spirit to come back from 2 goals down to equalise in the 89th minute. Then in the 3rd minute of injury time a pin point cross comes in from Lloyd Dyer, Steve Howard rises like a salmon out of water to send a thunderbolt header past the outstretched arms of Almunia.....The Bluearmy go wild.......as he runs to the chaos thats occuring in the away end he lifts his shirt to reveal a message reading "Come home Martin". Back in Leicester, Martin (sitting in his newly decorated flat in Stoneygate) is watching these unbelievable scenes and see's the immense talent & fighting spirit from the Foxes.... the sheer emotion from Steve's message makes him see the light and he decides to sign the 4 year contract that was offered to him at the Belfry hotel at 8.13pm on Thursday night. We then go on an unbeaten run until the end of the season to break the Championships points total. Nicky Maynard....(a £3m January signing) also finishes top goalscorer with 28 goals. And we all live happily ever after................... or We could get beat 3-0 and Steve McClaren is appointed boss on Monday morning +5
butterslcfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Will probably go for a 'Spoons somewhere around St Panc myself but would like to be in the company of some more LCFC fans rather than just me and my mate!
martyn Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 We'll play alright but lose 2-0 to mistakes/goals from set pieces.
StanSP Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 source? That's Gally's father-in-law (I think?) Oh and there's been 5 red cards shown in the last 6 matches between West Ham and Leicester (thanks OptaJoe!)
Sods Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I have had enough of all this talk of who our next manager will be. Lets concentrate on the real stuff. A massive game tomorrow, where we will be the underdogs, lets show our support and sing our hearts out. I would get the basics right a flat 4-4-2, an organised side with big Steve and Nugent up front. 1-0 City. COME ONNNNNNNNNNN!
