Finchy Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Blackburn are a team very much on the down, and I don't get the impression there's much money available there. How can they be a more attractive proposition than us? If he's pulled out of the running I doubt it has anything to do with any positions that might become available, especially not the Blackburn job. I'd say it's just because he doesn't think he should come back.

How can they be a more attractive proposition than us? You could be right, it's just that Blackburn are in the prem, and there chicken shit owners may have the will to invest?
Jacnah Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Spot on, that's business. Some silly overreactions in this thread. first time for everything
dannythefox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 It wouldn't surprise me, the Blackburn job could be available very soon!! If martin wants a prem club it will be a top half club probably spurs if harry gets the england job blackburn have no chance of getting him.

Babylon Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Always been a bloody sceptic then ???? Or perhaps a buffoon more like ! Wtf would anyone tell HIM what to say ffs ??? To get the fans on board, to get people to think he's some kind of life long fan, that the club is safe in their hands etc etc etc. Does it need spelling out? You didn't think it was a bit of a coincidence? I mean a Carling Cup replay between us and boro in sheffield doesn't strike me as the sort of game a millionaires son from Thailand turns up for... and then happens to buy the club 15 years later.

The replay wasn't the first game he saw. "Coincidentally the first game I saw at a stadium was the final of the Carling Cup between Leicester and Middlesbrough and it was good to watch at the stadium and not on TV. The first time I heard that Leicester City was being offered to us it was not difficult to make a decision because I know the team and I know the story and of course the team has been very successful," he said.
