Filberts Treat Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Mon is not gonna be unveiled at the game today as some of u are hoping. If he was the club would let us know about it to boost ticket sales
Rob1742 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 What the People say can be discounted. The papers have been backwards and forwards with false information all week. Why believe what they are saying today?

Why believe what they are saying today? Just because it's posted and people comment doesn't mean it's believed any more than all the other media crap.
glen parva fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Good news, don't want him back, we are moving forward, cocked up in the home leg of the playoffs, too defensive.
singinpete Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Does this mean we're no closer to getting any1 in or would this have happened a while ago?????
foxfanazer Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If hull deny us permission to speak to him is that the end of it or are there other ways to get him?
singinpete Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 suppose he could resign if he wanted the job
Vlad the Fox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If hull deny us permission to speak to him is that the end of it or are there other ways to get him? I guess it's down to Pearson now.
Happy Fox Posted 6 November 2011 Author Posted 6 November 2011 We don't want NP it is all a smokescreen.
Bluefoxtim Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Surely we wouldn't approach an employed manager without a view to giving him the job. MON Is and was never going to happen.

Guest Col city fan Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If hull deny us permission to speak to him is that the end of it or are there other ways to get him? IF this happens and IF Pearson clearly wants to come it could drag on for ages... Compensation an all that would need sorting out, pearson would prob be offered a better deal to stay at Hull etc etc.. All too messy IMO

Compensation an all that would need sorting out, pearson would prob be offered a better deal to stay at Hull etc etc.. All too messy IMO Exactly, and my point still remains if we wanted Pearson so badly why didn't we approach them in the last week, we clearly don't it is all a smokescreen MON is the man we want.
reynard Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Hull deny leicester permission to speak to Pearson. SSN So does this mean we have made an official approach and they have declined it or is it more a warning statement that they would not welcome an official approach? If the former it would suggest the MON rumours are dead in the water. For why would we risk pissing him off by making a formal approach for another manager if we were in serious negotiations with him. It would now be up to Pearson to resign if he wanted to come back.
Rob1742 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 DavieG - on here they do, judging by the replies to media comment.

I would've thought it was an official approach, not sure tho. Agreed about MON deal
reynard Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I would've thought it was an official approach, not sure tho. Agreed about MON deal That's kind of what I thought but as I've not seen SSN I'm not sure. The problem now in a way is if it is a formal approach and he refuses to resign any manager they appoint runs the risk of looking and feeling like a second choice. In ordinary work it wouldn't because the public wouldn't know or care but in football it would because of all the press speculation.
Foxy oz Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Very hot tip from Australia Nigel is the man for the job.
