Guest MattP Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 When did England turn into America with all these Halloween celebrations? Saw a bloke just now walking down the street with a pumpkin on his head, must be 35 years old, pathetic to be honest.

Fox92 Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 I am not a fan of the American import. Everyone seems to go crazy for it though, I don't get all the excitement at all! I am sure its pretty dangerous as well; all little children along the streets could easily be targeted.
Guest MattP Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 What am I doing for Halloween? The first thing that knocks on my door.
21st Century Fox Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Its not American, they borrowed it from us and commercialised it. Pfffttt back then* we had to grow our own pumpkins** and dig up our own skeletons to hang in the window, none of this buying them in a shop malarky. *Pre-19th Century. ** Turnips.
Zingari Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 IS that a turd or cock, comming out of that persons pant in that sig!!! Your sig is truely halloween!! yes it looks like something has scared the shite out of her !!

Loads of fun doing that when we were kids to get money for fireworks. If we got told to fek off by some snobby git, they`d soon be having a banger shoved in their letterbox.. We were like the Taliban..
leicesterseddon Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Meh. Whatever the history of Hallowe'en is, the 'festival' in its current manifestation is openly and flagrantly commercial. Basically, bars / nightclubs / supermarkets, etc. all make money from it, so the festival exists.
Zingari Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 I love Halloween . At least we can take the mother in law out at this time of year without attracting attention .
EnderbyFox Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 The only thing good about Halloween is the Special Simpsons episodes
