Dan Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I might go trick or treating dressed as Mick Philpott
cambridgefox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I might go trick or treating dressed as Mick Philpottweek later? Or throw the real one on the bonfire.Even mentioning his name makes y skin crawl.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 This pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter:
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 So there's a sexy George Washington costume but no Baberaham Lincoln?
Fox92 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Not a fan of Halloween and Football Manager is released the same day, so I'll be playing that all night... Going out tonight though which should be decent (not dressed up, I'm not into that stuff).
kingfox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Halloween is a bag of shit. It's pointless over here nowadays, nobody comes down my street so that's alright. Only matters in America.
ithuriel Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I do not mind it, do not really celebrate it and would not mind a few decent horror movies on the TV on the night
Dan Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 To be fair I did used to like it as a kid but I knew no better. Best thing about it is the slutty outfits in town
RonnieTodger Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 It's just fancy dress rather than scary stuff now. Is a good laugh, mind.
Mr.X Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 When the brats come over expect money with their trick or treat nonsense I will not open the door. What a pain it all is
Mr.X Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 you love starting a thread don't ya? I haven't started many, and I've never been trick or treating But there again, there was none of that rubbish when I was younger anyway
yorkie1999 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 How come if you say Trick, they stand there clueless!
StanSP Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 It's like there was never a Halloween thread. Oh wait...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 It's like there was never a Halloween thread. Oh wait... TRICK!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 It's a form of begging. I never did it and my future children will never do it.
sphericalfox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I think there should be serious look at the rules of Halloween. If you've bought your costume from Asda or Tesco's you get zero sweets. If you/ or parent have gone to great lengths making a costume, and perhaps it's funny, then you get some sweets. It should be like an episode of X-Factor. A true spectator sport. With witty barbs and put-downs. Thems the rules, and if you trick, you get a drunk man chasing you down the street.
I am Rod Hull Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I`m all for it. Its the one day of the year that most kids get to exercise. EDIT: The sweets they eat might cancel out the affects of the exercise they`re getting. I didnt really think it through.
Corky Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I might go trick or treating dressed as Mick Philpott Good idea, Dan DCFC
JonnyBoy Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 just a form of begging, kids turn into absolute lunatics aswell. Cause anti-social behaviour, and get away with it. I know that my neighbors car got egged once and created a massive dent. Annoys the sh!t out of Halloween does
ScouseFox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Mizzy Night (tonight, Mischief Night) is pwopa nawty. Eggs and flour bombs galore. Fireworks if the locals are gettin proper risky. Halloween is for children, and if done right by children (and parents looking after children) then it can be a bit of fun for everyone really. No big deal. I've gotta dress up in work tomorrow though which is a big deal because I can't be arsed.
Danno Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I seriously don't get why anyone over the age of 9 would celebrate this.
