Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He's not a winger. Should try him in the King role (his favourite / best position) and then decide.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Alan Young certainly rates him. He rates Lee Danns
kingfox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Absolutely woeful signing so far, it's so hilarious that his best game was against Real Madrid and in all the others he has done nothing. Yes I agree he is not a winger, just kept coming inside for most of the game and not supporting Peltier. Poor player so far, but from his time at Palace we know he is good, question is can we get the best out of him if not, Yuki and Fernandes need to come back in sharpish, in fact next game they have to come in full stop.
FrankieADZ Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 well if he's not playing in his natural position we cant really judge him to the full imo.
silebyboy Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He rates Lee Danns And Sol Cambell, I mean Bamba.
Kitchandro Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He can't skin anyone, passing is poor, he's slow, doesn't read the game. Yes he's been useless so far. We seem to have a lot of midfielders but very few of them actually do anything.
chili_con_carne Posted 6 November 2011 Author Posted 6 November 2011 We really do need to offload some midfielders. The trouble with paying the likes of danns stupid wages is that even if we try selling him, he won't move cuz he would be taking a big pay cut. So we're pretty much stuck with him for 3 years.
cc_star Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He's been woeful, this isn't scapegoating him he just has, loses posession all the time even in that Derby game who did us the great favour of not putting a tackle in. Yes he's out if position, but he's not as good as King on the edge of /our/ box to replace him & he's not done enough to warrant it anyway.
Father Ted Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Never rated him to be honest. Can't skin his man, awful touch and hasn't exactly got the best footballing brain...
z-layrex Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I hate how you lot treat some of our players at times like these. He's worked really hard for us in the past.
blueredswed Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I think he can bee a very good player for us! Just let him play in the place he will have :scarf:
Kitchandro Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I hate how you lot treat some of our players at times like these. He's worked really hard for us in the past. He's worked hard but he's not good enough. This isn't abuse this is fair opinion.
cc_star Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Moussa has done well on the right in the past, dribbles well, doesn't lose posession & if not injurred & still with us would be worth a look
Bert Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He's good enough. Confidence has been hit for me. I remember all of us raving when he signed for us. You don't become a bad player.
leicesterisme Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I rate him alot having seen him for Palace quite a bit I know he's got it in his locker. Play him CM and we'll start to see the best out of him.
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Before he signed I was delighted with the news. From what I've seen (not all that much), he's been no better or worse than any of our other midfielders really. From what some on here and Alan Young have said, if he's not executed over the international break, it'll be a disappointment. Who knows.
Jace Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 How many decent players for other clubs are going to come to Leicester and lose their confidence? its incredible. If Christiano Ronaldo and Messi joined us in the transfer window they would turn shit over night
Fox92 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 You have to realise he is out of position. I would prefer him over the King in central midfield. Danns is the only midfielder with pace.
Bugg Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 He's not good enough. That moment when he stopped when through on goal summed it up.
frankiesgrandad Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Danns was poor but was played out of position. So unfair to judge. whole team look desperate when playing at home. The facts are we didn't have a shot worthy of a mention against a team which shipped 5 at home in mid week and that's the worry. We need tactics and guidance . At least we had a plan B today withBamber at centre forward for last 10 mins. We need newmanager but can't help feeling that Pearson would be backward step. I hope not
Clazie Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 You have to realise he is out of position. I would prefer him over the King in central midfield. Danns is the only midfielder with pace. That's really stretching it. I reckon I could do him over 100 meters.
blueredswed Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Make confidence (right spelling)? In the players and also managers! This time Sven KNEW he don´t have long time to deliever, but! As usual it takes time to et the right team and TOP didn´t have that time..... :scarf:
Fox92 Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 That's really stretching it. I reckon I could do him over 100 meters. Good for you. But he has more pace than Wellens, King, Johnson, Abe etc
