Jimmy Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Anyone fancy Kris Commons at Celtic? He was quality at D***y and F****t before he went up to the SPL. Obviously likes the midlands and is a very good left sided winger who scores a lot of goals! they won't sell he's a key player for them
bluearmyfox23 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 they won't sell he's a key player for them And he is also playing european football !!
Fox on Fox action Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 they won't sell he's a key player for them He's from Mansfield so fairly local, plus we'd be able to pay him more than what he is on at Celtic. They aren't the team they used to be, miles out of the title race and won't do any better next year. He would be ideal IMO.
Adster Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 He is a massive talent, if they were to sell him it'll be to a Prem club. I'm sure SISU would jump at the chance to attain around 500k for one of their talents. That's a lot of money for them
Happy Fox Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 I'm sure SISU would jump at the chance to attain around 500k for one of their talents. That's a lot of money for them Give them 400k plus Moreno
Happy Fox Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 I think Pearson will also be interested in signing a CB,, possibly Ryan Bennett from Peterborough
Ashley Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 I think Pearson will also be interested in signing a CB,, possibly Ryan Bennett from Peterborough REALLY?! Another Centre Back?!
Ric Flair Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 I think Pearson will also be interested in signing a CB,, possibly Ryan Bennett from Peterborough I don't think he will just yet. He has 4 very talented ones already.
Happy Fox Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 REALLY?! Another Centre Back?! I can foresee St Ledger throwing his dummies out the pram if he isn't picked on a regular basis, I know he gets picked on a regular basis for ROI despite not playing, but I think he may go in the January window if not he is more than adequate, anyway priority for us at the moment is wingers.

So we're going to sell a centre half because he's not playing and buy another centre half not to play as well? Makes sense.
Happy Fox Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 So we're going to sell a centre half because he's not playing and buy another centre half not to play as well? Makes sense. Sorry I wasn't being very clear, what I was trying to say was that should St Ledger leave we would need another CB, so a suggestion would be to bring in Ryan Bennett from the Posh. But priority should be to get some wingers.
city1993 Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 Kebe, Koren, and Townsend. Also recall Waghorn and I'd be seriously inquiring about Jordan Rhodes.
The Doctor Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 He's from Mansfield so fairly local, plus we'd be able to pay him more than what he is on at Celtic. They aren't the team they used to be, miles out of the title race and won't do any better next year. He would be ideal IMO. - more than he's on, perhaps, more than Celtic could offer him, definitely not - they aren't exactly strapped for cash boyo. Commons will not come.
lcfc81 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Gael Bigirimana from Cov, very good young player I agree with the idea at looking at some of Cov's youth. They are blooding a lot at the minute, and from what I've seen of them if they could get in one or two more senior players they would be doing ok.
lcfc81 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 I only pray there are only one or two movements in and out in January. If we are going to get promoted I think a settled squad will be essential.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 I only pray there are only one or two movements in and out in January. If we are going to get promoted I think a settled squad will be essential. I personally would like us to bring 4 players in firstly i think i would send schlupp back out on loan possibly to a struggling championship club. I also think trappotoni will tell st ledger that if he wants to play in the euro 2012 he has to play more first team football. Therefore i would like us to bring in a striker ( Maynard or Fuller ) 2 wingers ( Brady, Snodgrass, Stewart or kebe ) and finally a centre back ( Chester, Shittu? ) And i if i was to be greedy i would possibly look for a new target man? Possibly heskey !!
bluearmyfox23 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Then you also need cover for fernandes if he leaves ( Koren, Spearing ) and we do need cover at left back ( Clyne, Cunningham) so i can see is bringing in around 5-6 players maybe more considering who pearson likes so tbf " lcfc81" i personally think we will be busy in jan
BigBawsFaeTheShaws Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Gael Bigirimana from Cov, very good young player Agreed. Thought he looked good first game of the season.
city1993 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 What about Pedersen from Blackburn? I hear he wants to jump ship before they get relegated. Also Bilyanetdinov at Everton in similar position (wants to leave, not going to be relegated). Another winger who may be a gamble but looks a cracking player is Ryan Hall at Southend. He's running rings around League 2 players, I'm thinking he may be the new Anthony Pilkington.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Jimmy Kebe from Reading would be a bit special i think, long shot getting him though probably
bluearmyfox23 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 "City1993" think about it he wants to leave blackburn before they get relegated therefore why would he come to a championship side !!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Kebe, Koren, and Townsend. Also recall Waghorn and I'd be seriously inquiring about Jordan Rhodes. Could be worth a punt the rate hes scoring at the mo
foxfanazer Posted 20 November 2011 Author Posted 20 November 2011 Peter whittingjam has gotta be worth a punt. And I keep saying Jordan Rhodes
J.Lisemore Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Peter whittingham has gotta be worth a punt. And I keep saying Jordan Rhodes For some reason, hes always come across to me as an absolute bellend. Good player though.
